- MikeHuntleton replies to SBI can tell you with certainty that NO company would EVER call you, just to say that. That would be something a scammer would say after getting a request sent to your phone to trick you into giving it to them.
- RiswasGot several text messages with an authentication code and asking me to call this number if I did not request it.

- Randal NielsenKept getting emails that my Debit Card had been declined on a closed account. The bank gave me this 800 number as the company that kept hitting the closed account card. Called the number and they said I one $100 prize, but had to give them a Credit/ Debit Card number for the 95 cents postage. After I refused to give them a number, they immediately disconnected.

- Reward 'winner'Today, a postcard came in with no return address or any other identifying information, other than THIS PHONE NUMBER... saying there was an "unclaimed reward worth up to $100,000" being held, just call 1-866-582-1752 with the "Claim #" - ugh, this is really brazen, to scam people over the mail like this. I approve of the use of predator drones to take these scammers out.

- LilyReceived 2 texts from 29946 stating that "x" was my code for us bank and to contact this number if I didn't request it. Knew immediately that it's a scam since I have no such account with us bank. If for some reason this was legit and someone set up an account using my info (identity fraud), it wouldn't make sense that they would use my mobile number to secure the account. Thus, I'm just gonna report it and go on with my day.

- burrrersearText with a code asking me to call if I did not request it. Called and they asked me for my credit card # right off the bat. I said no that I did not trust them and asked them which of my cards I wanted. They then rattled off a number of companies that they represent. Sounded fishy so hung up. Before I got to the Agent, their robot did mimic the robots of nearly all companies

- Ty| 1 replyI received a text from 29946 giving me a code and saying that if I didn't request this to call 866-253-1752. US Bank could not confirm that this phone number was one of their's. She said that they have many different phone numbers and that she didnt have any type of list of them. The crazy thing about it was the 29946 phone# that I received the text from is the same phone number that I received text from US Bank these past 2 months when I got unauthorized charge attempts on my debit card. The only difference with this last text was the phone# it advised me to call was different than the one's in the past. It usually says to call 1-800-USBANKS. These scammers are getting really good how in the world were they able to send me a text from the same#. Their message was in the same text thread of my legit texts that I got from US Bank. I'm glad I googled this# to see where it would take me. If it was actually usbanks phone# usbank would have come up in my google search.
