They have called several times, when I do answer the phone no one is there and they leave no message. When I called them they said that they are an agent for Dish Network. Often times they are calling past 9pm. I got a call at 9.27pm just now.

Called at 10:10 PM PST to my residence, they stated they were Max with Dish agent ID was 072. Spoke with east indian accent and not very good english. This is bogus and there are laws regarding times that telemarketers can call you.

I too have received calls fm "dish network" after 10 pm.  I actually answered this time because it was so late.  Once I asked the woman (she too had an accent) if she knew what time it was, she hung up.

I keep getting these calls and no one is on the other line. But today, Aug. 18, 2007, someone did answer and asked for someone with my last name. I had her repeat the name but I had no idea who that person was. I finally told her I didn't understand her and thast this is an AMERICAN HOUSEHOLD. I'm sick and tired of these people calling and not answering.

I have had numerous calls from this same number... also round 10 PM. Most after 9 mPM but some during the day. Sometimes there is someone there that says they are with DISH and sometimes nobody answers at all. I have had MANY problems with the very bad ethics of DISH network and their telemarketing. I wish there was something that could be done about them... I was with DISH but I have now changed over to Direct TV and they are much better in every capacity I have been abole to measure so far. If anyone knows what can be dome about the DISH problem I would like to know!!!!

They called tonight at 9:30 with an offer to switch to DISH with 4 free receives, DVR, movie channels for 44.99.  They ask for a credit card number and I told them I would have to get my card and they would need to call me back.  Don't think this is very reputable so if they call back I will tell them NO.

called about 11:00 pm called twice called once said he had the wrong # then called right back and was rude and claimed I owed him money from a bill. Had no idea who he was. spoke with an east Indian accent could hardly understand him. 1-866-255-6987

Called and no one was there at 9:18 on 9-26... I keep getting these calls so I called the number back told Ethan who answered that his company keeps calling me with no one there and I would like it to stop and he hung up on me. Made me SOO mad. 1-866-255-6987

has it been confirmed that the 866-255-6987 number is from the dish network?  My inlaws in NC keep getting these phone messages all the time.

Called last night  at 10:36, again tonight at 10:10. Never heard the phone last night and tonight I turned the phone on and off without answering. Now that I know so many are having a hard time with this I will probably give them a piece of my mind. We are always trying to sleep while they are being pests. There have bee several unknown cals begginning around 8 that I have answered with do not call here at this hour, must be the same eople!!!

I have been receiving calls from this number for a week now.
It started as a call from 866-255-6987. I ignored it for the first
day and no messages were left. When I attempt to call the number back it just disconnets. Sometime the next day the call switched
to UNAVAILABLE on the caller ID. Eventually they left a voicemail with the 866-255-6987 number and said they were calling on behalf of "Satellite TV". Indian sounding caller in what sounded like a busy call center. I started attempting to answer the calls because I realized they were not going to stop. Most of the time it would just disconnect after a few seconds. When I finally got to speak to a caller I asked them to stop calling me and he hung up. The calls continued and I asked the next caller if they were allowed to call people the "do not call list" which I am on. They apologized and said they called because I asked for information online (I did not), but that they would take care of it. For one day I didnt get a call. Once they started again I just got disconnected everytime until I filed a complaint with Verizon. I am actually still waiting for a response from Verizon. Oddly, the next day I received another call and this time he announced it was Dish Network. He was emphatic about that he was calling because I asked for information. I pressed him for details about that but he would not say anything about it. I started yelling that I had asked numerous times to be taken out of their system, that I was filing complaints, etc. etc. and he hung up on me in the middle of my rant. So far no more calls today.

It is my belief that they got my information from Expedia.com or one of expedia's partners. I only feel that way because I put my name in differently in expedia than I use anywhere else.

I received the calls...but when i really listened he said they were from dish network...actually I believe he was from direct tv trying to get me to switch.  He started telling me all the deals he could give...with direct. I hung up.  After several more calls I got ugly with them...so far the calls have stopped

they are dish network spoke with the India accent and the number they left me was to anther company the number that came across my caller id  when called was not a working number

Had this number call me..was dish network..and since I had already finished my order earlier in the day, figured something was wrong and when I tried calling them back.. itjust disconnects.

recieved call both at work and cell phone numbers i've asked them to stop calling but won't they say they can't remove number from list until they contact the person they are looking for. its very annoying.

whoever these people were called with indian accent to my job, and I work at a hospital, the man said i owed money from a payday loan back in june of 2006, what was funny was that i did not take out a payday loan, and the account he was saying it went to had been closed for 6months during the time i supposedly received a payday loan, he didn't like it that i called him an extortionist, because he had tried the same line with several employees at my job even cussed them out, and claimed he had had sex with their daughters.
