This number 8662679392 has called my parents' house. They hesitate to call back and I offered to ask here before they return the call.

I receive one phone call per day on my cell phone from this number.  Sometimes the last 4 digits vary, but it is mostly this number.  They say it is not sales or solicitation, but that it is URGENT that I contact them directly.  Ha. Right.

I reached the number. They asked for someone other than me. According to them, they represent 100+ law firms.

Not 100% Sure, but if jill's "Caller: NCO Financial" and this number are one and the same...get ready for the worst of the worst...

If you read just a few comments on that page you'll understand what I mean.
My advice... be super nice. Bully's, like them, want to make you mad and scare you. Being nice makes them mad cuz they aren't making you mad. Always get a name from them and keep a record of when they call. Makes you look better when you sue for harrasment. :P
Read up on your rights and your state laws!
I pray to God it works out for all of us.

Left a voice mail on my home phone at 2:28 p.m. on 8/8/07 Does not identify company but in message said it is not a sales or solicitationbut is urgent that I call back. Says her name is Jennifer Miles but when I attempted to call the number, NO company name is mentioned and it goes to automated thing saying "if you know your parties extension you may dial it now, etc."  Since I owe no one any money and all my bills are paid on time all the time, this is not a collection agency...because there would be no need. I hung up and checked the number out online, and now I will not call them back at all!

I decided to call them afterall, after reading some of the comments about this company. When I was connected to someone I said "I am wondering why I had a message on my home phone to call you people."  She said "this is regarding David?" I said "who?" and she said "David."  I told her there is no David living here, and she said "ok" and appeared to put me on hold, and then about a minute later the call disconnected."  I have a fairly common last name; perhaps they are calling everyone with that last name in an attempt to find this elusive "David."  I hope to not hear from them anymore, but we will see.  What a crappy way to do business!

I keep getting Jennifer Mills, this is not a solicitation or saled call, but it is urgent you call me back.  I too have no outstanding bills, warrants or any crimes in my name.  I am worried about calling back since I keep hearing about scams.

I have a fairly uncommon last name, I'm a woman and I recieved a call around the same time as you today, 1:28 pm 8/8.  The exact same phone call.  I have had those law office phone calls before, were they ask for someone else, act like they didn't believe me when I said they had the wrong number, then put me on hold!.  Do you think they charging your cell phone bill?

I have been getting nearly constant calls from this phone number - my guess it is for the lovely lady who had my phone number before me - who felt no need to pay her bills - you would think after 4 YEARS they would realize she does not live here . . .

Called 866-267-9392 from a pay phone, fast busy signal, called from my cell number which is blocked and received a message "cannot accept you call at this time, call back later.  When I received the message it was from Jennifer Mills, urgent, call me back as soon as possible."  These calls are scams.  The phone number has been turned into the FTC for investigation.

The Company's name is "National Account Adjusters", it is true that they do hold Multiple accounts from MANY MANY MANY bill collectors.

If they are calling you and not stopping, the man in charge his name is
Bart Owens, explain the situation to him or his assistant and they should fix the issue, if they don't then call the FTC! I did!

If you are being called because you are actually the one they are looking for  then doing what i said is F#$*&$d up and you should go to jail.

I received a call today from this number.   Looking for a "bill Miller" (not me)  seems they were looking for someone who had this number previously.  Frankly, I think they're full of crap.  I'm glad to read that someone is investigating them.

They called a rollover line on my work number, (these are typically wrong numbers as they are unpublished and not used) and it was after hours 7:45 PM EST. No one was on the line then click (it was an automatic dialer connection) so I waited...the person thought it was answering machine and left a message in my ear.....never asked for anyone by name, but stated as all of you described, "not a solicitation, urgent matter" call back and the number with no name to contact either...just a number. If indeed they are a collection agency they don't know how to do it very well! lmao!!!

A message (recording) from Larry Watts at 866-267-9392 was left Friday, 9/7 @ 15:22.  It stated: "My office was hired to contact you in regards to a matter that needs your immediate attention.  I need you to contact  me directly.  This is not a sales or solicitation call.  This does concern you directly."

The name and the number are repeated a few times throughout the message.

They called again on Saturday morning at 8:05.  I called them at 9:00.  I was on hold 15 minutes before Call Waiting chimed in -- with another recording from this number.  At 9:50 I was still on hold and decided to hang up since I'd been waiting almost hour and there was no sign anyone was going to talk with me.

Here's my suspicion: This may be from a collection agency based on what I've found in my research.  I have one outstanding bill from 5 months ago that I have been having trouble getting my medical insurance companay to pay.  I received 2 bills.  Both times I contacted the insurance company and they said they would pay it.  They know THEY are responsible for it, but are taking their time paying it.  The doctor's office probably lost their patience.  If my suspicions are true, what will this do to my perfect credit until I get this resolved?

Of course, this is speculation.  They might be calling for someone esle -- a wrong number perhaps?  Or this could be a scam altogether, trying to steal money from people who scare easily.

In any event, I reported the incident to the state Attorney General's office since we are on the Do Not Call list.  Next, I will follow up with the doctor's office to see if it was sent to a collection agency.  If so, then the HR dept. at work to see if they can help.  If not, I will start calling politicians if I have to.

Now they're calling once an hour.  We've had 5 calls in 5 hours today, starting at 8:05 this morning.  In one case, when the phone rang, a recording said to stay on the line and wait for a representative, but after 35 minutes, the battery on the cordless phone died so the call ended.

If they really want to reach one of us, why don't they actually get on the phone and talk to us?  Instead they call and hang up or leave us waiting for no one to speak to us.  This is harrassment.  Nothing is being accomplished except to make us want to turn the ringer off on the phone.

Does anyone know how to actually get someone on the line so we can find out what they want?  Maybe a phone extension or some other number?

EXACT same experience as everyone above. They got me a little frustrated the first time, but not the second. I picture some fat guy on the other end since he was getting out of breath while talking to me. I hung up with no resolve. I spoke to my attorney and he's going to be sending a letter to the address above. We'll pursue leagal action unless they stop calling.
