Je suis pognée avec cette agence de recouvrement pour le remboursement des mes prêts étudiants et ils ont des pratiques plus que douteuses.
Tu peux toujours essayer de te renseigner auprès du Protecteur du citoyen pour savoir où est-ce que tu peux faire une plainte car il s'agit de pratiques illégales.

I have exactly the same problem with M. Sbardi.  I live out of Canada and he give me an acount number where I send money... he says he nerver received (and I have a reference number that says that it has been send).  So I stoped to send money and wrote a letter to the ministere de l'éducation and A l'; Office de la protection du consommateur.
Did you contact le Ministère de l'éducation?  If yes, can I ask you what happend then?  Sbardi keep on calling me every month to tell me he received nothing and so on and of course I won't send him money before I'm sure it goes to pay my debt.

Been getting the same phone calls an messages from this group to be a collection agency "Viecore Canada. An they wouldn't gve any details, unil I told them who I was. an of course,  I did No such thing!!!
They said it could be fo many reasons: as too unpaid parking tickets overdue accounts etc...

Been getting calls from this number, an the few times I did call back, it was always an automated answering machine with no given name! An when I finally got someone, it was always a different company name!!!

Received a call from Icor Canada Ltee asking to call them back at: 1 866 276 1918 and it was very important. This is a recorded message.  I receive this at least 3 times a week. What can I do to stop that?

i got the same message from niccolini sbardi 2 years ago; he had all my student loan info right, and i assumed that it was legit. so i sent off a cheque for 1100$!!  then, i went to set up monthly payments for 100$ at the bank.  i gave the bank the address of IQOR canada and they told me that it wasn't legit, that there was no such institution that they dealt with.
so that tipped me off...  i had no way of tracking the 1100$ money order i sent off by mail.
now, 2 years later, i'm getting calls again, of a much more aggressive nature.  i told him to send me something in writing, which he did, but i still have no idea where he got this info from.
as far as i'm concerned it's a complete scan, but i haven't heard anyting back from the ministere des finances yet stating either way whether they deal with these guys or not ...

i was in tiuch with the quebec finacial aid office and they gave me the iqor number to cal to settle or make payment arrangements for my old student loan

C'est vraiment fatiguant de recevoir cette appel. Je ne fais totalement pas confiance a ce message qui dit qu'on doit les rappeler concernant quelque chose d'important. Aucune idée comment faire pour arrêter ce genre d'appel... Chose qui est sur et certain, je ne les rappel pas, trop peur que ce soit une arnarque par téléphone.
