I didn't answer when they called since I didn't know who it was.  I called the number back in curiosity.  It answered as the Northern Illinois University Alumni Assoc.  I suspect that they have students calling to try to get donations.

Wanted me to donate to the Northern Illinois University fund.

Just answered the call and yes it was from Northern Illinois University.  They are trying to update alumni information.  They already had my address and phone number and employer information.  They also want to find out if you would recommend others to go there and whether NIU prepared you for your current job (It didn't!) Then they want to sell you their updated alumni yearbook (comes with a t-shirt, hat, etc..)  Didn't purchase anything so I've got no more info.  Go Huskies!!
