I got a text message purportedly from verizon wireless just now telling me to call that number but it sounded fishy. I think it may be a scam. This is the only hit on google I got for that number and it also isn't on the website.

I also got a text message from this number, supposedly from Verizon Wireless, saying that one of my lines had gone more than $10 over its voice allowance.  I did not call the number, but checked my account on-line, and this was not the case.

I've heard of a scam where the con artist pretending to be a company (phone, credit card, etc) leaves you a number on your answering machine, telling you to call back.  When you do, they conference you in with the company, listening in as you provide your account number and other information.  Beware!

I also got the same Verizon Wireless text from this number.  Seems like a scam.

I got a TXT saying the same thing as you guys above.  I also checked online and i was well below the monthly limit of minutes.  I imagine it's a scam.

Here's an interesting one, all of you got text messages right?  In my case, I got the call on my home phone ID'd as Toll Free Call, but there was no message attached.  Most likely a scam.

Calls everyday on landline and never a message. Blocked for now, we'll see.

I've had exactly the same experience.

CID showed number only.  Long silence after answering indicative of robodialed call transferred to call center where the most clownish voice I have ever heard finally comes on and asks for the owner.  I literally laughed at her and set the receiver down on my desk for her to hang on as long as her stupid little heart desired.

Robodialed Special Olympics fundraiser.  I stopped donating to them years ago because their caller was demanding and rude.
