It also happened to me from I am from Canada it's a scam with me they went further they
took more more out of my credit card than I authorized for, they are crooks i hope they
catch these crooks and throw them in jail, is there something we can do to find out who they were. The only smart thing I did was immediately stopped my credit card.

I was taken just like you. I should have known better. I am from Canada and you know they took more money than I authorized for, but I immediately stopped my credit card. I made them change credit card no. Also, I think credit card should protect us better. They should not issue authorization unless they contact the customer. Anyway, it's the last time I give out my credit card no even to the Pope. Good lesson in U.S.A. It happens a lot. In Canada, a lot of them get caught and fast.

called from this number i had won a trip, i was frauded on my credit card of more money than they said they would,called many times but no answer from this said company, they are crooks and must be stopped.
i am from canada,i say never never never believe people that try to sell something on the phone,the law should look into it.

They have disconnected all lines: Local and the 866 number.

I was also scammed. I spent all day today trying to reach 1-866-282-2640 plus a few other numbers I was able to get and could not be connected. I also had a fax number that doesn't work. I bought the package in February so that amount can't be disputed it too long ago but my latest charge is in dispute. This is a scam do not give your credit card number ever by phone. We all learn the hard way.

hi there... I was wondering if you had set your dates for travel or if you had already taken your vacation? I paid for the trip in full and now it seems as though they had changed all of their original phone numbers.

I received the same call.  They told me that I can bring all my family (4 children 2 adults) for 699$ and that I win a 3 day cruise in the Bahamas.  After they took my money and one years after, I call to reserved my timeshare.  They told me that for 6 persons I have to pay 140$ per night (so 1400 for 10 night) and that I have to pay 640$ for the port taxes.  So that mean 2040$...  My children will not have holiday this years because I could not affort the difference if I add the 1500$ plus the 700$ I gave (ticket plane for 6) and the living exepnses. Toscana Village representative did not want to give her name and she said that nothing is free.

I m from Canada also but it is kind of weird that Toscana village never made any comments regarding people selling their name . I have received a full package of Toscana village and I will try to call them to see if i can have something from them..

Hi, I was wondering you you booked your package? I purchased this package as it seemed legitimate, however, I am just now booking my vacation and I am worried that I got scammed?

I received the pacakage a year and a half ago expecting to book this for February of 2011 and now there is no way to get in touch with them.
Please advise any info you have on how to get in touch or get my money back.

I am in Canada. I bought their vacation package in 2008 or 2009.  My credit card was billed monthly at a rate of 49.95.  I have tried to contact them both at the 866-282-2640 customer service # and by e-mail at reservation@toscanavillageorlando.com.  The 1-866 # is no longer in service and my e-mail to reservation@toscanavillageorlando.com got returned.  Needless to say, I am very troubled and will be following up with the Florida Attorney General's office.  Does anyone else have experiences like that to share?
