Got a call from this number.  They left a message indicating they were from the State of Louisiana - the Louisiana Economic Development Office and they were going to be in our area next month and would like to visit our business but first had a few questions.  Returned the call and got an answering machine saying "you have reached the Louisiana Economic Development Office....".  Goggled the Louisiana Economic Development "Office" and nothing comes up...not sure if this is ligit or not...will keep you posted.

Also received a call from this number today (Toronto, Ontario - May 2015) from a David Sneed? Said he was calling from the State of Louisiana and wanted to have a meeting with the CEO of my company... Very random. Sounds like scam.

I discarded the message as telemarketing.

Received a call from this number.  The message was from Carson Kent saying he was from the State of Louisana from the Louisana Economic Development Office and would be in our area and would like to ask our Executive Vice President a few questions.  From the other posts with the same message over the past few years, guessing this is a scam.

Received message from this number from a Mr. Kent stating he was from The State of Louisiana and needed to ask the CEO a few questions. I never called back.

I used to work for this company. Its not a scam or anything just a group of people that gather information and set appointments. They help economic developers fill in their calendars when they are running low on appointments for a trip. They are responsible for a lot of economic growth in our country.
