Received a call saying a person (not my name) needed to call the law office for a summons she was to received at work - left this detailed message on my voice mail - with case number, as well.

Received 2 messages yesterday stating that a civil complaint had been filled against us in regard to a non-existent debt.  I requested a written statement, they refused to send anything in the mail.  They claimed to have sent me a courtesy letter 45 days ago but of course, they never sent it.  They also called my in-laws threatening them and stating that my wife would go to jail.  Please do not fall for these deceptions - these people are scam artists and use these scare tactics to "shake down" unassuming people.  Wish there was some way to file a complaint against these companies.
