Call about a 'federal student loan' including a reference #.  I do not have a student loan currently and have never had one.  They didn't provide any office, organization or other details.

Got a call from Jennifer Williams about a government student load.  Requested a call back to 866-289-1991 and give this ref# 033309 when calling.  Knowing this wasn't any student loans I went ahead and called back to see what it was all about.  Message to press 1 if you are currently in school and press 2 if your loan was less than $10k, both options removed you from the call list.

Got a call/voicemail from (504)618-4026 by a lady named "Monica Freeman."  Said she was calling about my student loan due to repayment options changing. She said to please call her back at (866)419-7337 and left a reference number.  I then called the Federal Government and they confirmed this was a SCAM as the phone number was for some water shed company!   These jokers are something else.  Beware and DO NOT release any info to these fraudsters.

Same as CT. I pressed #3 a man answers still no company name, I said I did not understand how they got my number and he abruptly hung up.

Received a voice mail claiming to be Jennifer Williams.  She said she needed to speak to me about my federal student loan options.  Reference number 033309.  I called and was provided three options.  I chose #3..  When the person (Blake) learned I was already in the loan forgiveness plan she hung up.  I called back several times only to be hung up on.  Then I decided to look online.  Looks like a marketer or scammer either trying to obtain your loan or get personal information.
