Brett left me the same message twice in one week... so ridiculous and generic... “an entry you submitted in the last 18MONTHS at a local mall, restaurant, or event” so anywhere anyone would go... such a scam... hope. I one falls for this

Thanks for the whole script, I hung up after "cash giveaway sweepstakes." I was wondering what "Brett" would say next but had no time to listen.

Robo message saying that microsoft had turned off the windows service on my computer (that's funny.... It's working just fine as I type this) and that I was to call and pay for a new product key.  This is one of the dumbest scams I have ever heard.....

After reading the previous post I wondered if I wrote down the correct phone number. The call I received was allegedly from "Microsoft Windows subscription department indicating that my subscription was expired and they were going to charge my credit card $299 dollars"  If I wanted to cancel the subscription I was to press 2. I pressed 2 and told them I wanted to continue my subscription.

Please go ahead an charge the number you have on file." I said.  They insisted that I give them my credit card number to verify my identity. I told them my identity had been stolen and didn't have it anymore.  Kept them on the phone as long as I could.

    It is a SCAM.
