I called the # and it's a bill collecting company called Financial Management Services.

It's an annoying unknown caller, that doesn't leave a voice msg neither.

Inappropriate debt collector messages. They randomly picked my number because their debtor has the same last name as mine and they have a robo call " if you are not this person call this number otherwise hang up" then say they are FMS and are calling to collect a debt.  Totally inappropriate, and waste my time/call my number and tell me what to to do.  This is unfair  to the person they are trying to call (and illegal).

The same number appears on my caller id display today !

I did not answer the phone, I just checked my caller id and this number on the display.
I came to this website and looked it up, according to other posts it appears to be debt collector.

Yes, the worst is that my number is for some female that used to have this number a year ago say..... I bought a new phone so this may be the last reply unless it starts on my new #.

Well this number takes the cake calling today 12/25/13 @ 10:43. They persisted in ringing long enough to trip the answering machine.  I have no business with the"unavailable" number.  They have called before, and in the past before I started keeping records. I will pursue any actions the I can find against these clods.

Someone from this number called and asked to verify employment.  She had my full social security number, which is *really* scary.  I don't know if this has anything to do with the Target incidents, but I need to go to my bank and close my accounts right away.  

This is a legitimate company who is trying to collect on specific person's debt.  They do reach out to relative and references of the person they are looking for.  If you look up or know anything about privacy laws they are not allowed to leave messages or disclose further information unless they are speaking with and have identified properly that they are speaking with the person who is owing the debt.  They are not running a scam and are abiding to all FDCPA laws.  Look it up and see for yourself.

So what is a shill?  Do you know what FDCPA stands for?  obviously you have some debt to hide and are trying to avoid getting calls from a company like this.....  Oh well too bad.

Oh and do yourself a favor look up the company's website and you will clearly see they are legitimate....

I have a friend who works for this company which is legit.   The company is not called Financial Management services, its Financial Management Systems, there is a difference.  Once again this company is not running a scam and does abide by the correct laws so get your facts straight.

By the way the company is called Financial Management Systems not Financial Management services and the company is not based in Arizona, Very legal and legitmate company.   There is no scam involved, pick up the phone get resolution and you will understand what they do is within laws and rights.

However, they are indeed not in Arizona ... they are in Illinois.
