Our business is being harrassed by this company. We can't understand what they are saying because they do not speak English very well. It is some kind of bait & switch on-line Yellow Page search.  They have been asked to remove our business from their call list but continue to call & mock us. Major Pain in the A--. CAn the Attorney General do something?

Our business got a call from this company, obviously from a non-US location--caller spoke very poor English and claimed to be from the online green pages calling about a supposedly "free" listing.  Very suspicious.

You got a call from a call center in Philippines which ONLINEGREENPAGES.NET hires to facilitate marketing and SALES - even if they are telling you they are not going to sell you anything, they still charge you 49.99 that very day onwards, just listen to the Recoding verification section,

THIS "ONLINE GREEN PAGES'  PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!! Something needs to be done about this. They lied to me several times during the phone call I received . THEY REPEATEDLY TOLD ME DURING THE CONVERSATION THAT THIS SERVICE WAS FOR FREE! Now I find out they are charging me   $49.99  monthly. ! The individuals who are the owners of this company needs to be identified and prosecuted and held financially responsible for all this fraud!

I got tired of seeing the same number on my Caller ID (a rip-off in its own right at $10.00) so I answered. It sounded both legit and fishy. When they asked if I was authorized to allow charges to my number, I refused to say yes. They had already gotten me to say yes to simpler questions. If they try to paste my voice saying yes to the authorization question, it will be all out war.

If I hung in in the middle of the voice verification section do you guys think my business will still get charged?  I only confirmed our address, number and my position.  All of a sudden it hit me that something wasn't right so I hung up the phone.  Was that all they needed to charge us or did I hang up at an appropriate time?  If someone could help answer that question I would really appreciate it.

Steven, I called the phone company to see what they could do. They can only put a block, for a few dollars, on the number that shows up on your Caller ID. The short answer to the rest is that, sadly, you will have to wait until you get your next phone bill to find out whether they will try to charge, and you will have to dispute it with Online Green Pages first before the phone company will do anything.

This company called my office stating that the online company listing would be free, however, at the end of the call the company then stated that I would be billed $49.99 for the listing and hung up.

Corrections:  The caller was onlinegreen.net.  This company is a scam and is deceptive.  I will report this company to the attorney generals office.

This number has been reported for so many times yet, there's no action on it.. I got a friend from Philippines and she's a call center agent in Manila.Actually she worked on this campaign ( Online Green Pages )  but when she finds out that its a scam campaign she resigned.  She actually knew the exact place where this ONLINEGREENPAGES.NET is located. Its somewhere in Ortigas Center, in Pasig City.

I will post it here the exact address of the building next time...

Called to verify company listing.

OMG I received this call too. So are they gonna charge my phone bill?

These guys are definitely scammers! First advise - never pick up the phone or never talk to them! If you did and said "Yes" to so called "Free" (actually $49.99 monthly!!!) advertising for your company. The first thing you need to do is to make a call to your phone company and ask them to block ANY THIRD PARTY Billing! It turned out that 3-rd party billing became available for all those scam artists out there.

Then complain about their activity to BBB, FBI and all the rest good places to complain!

It is interesting, this company [ onlinegreenpages.com -866-303-2475 ] scammed so many business owners and none of us still did not take them to court? Why not? Do we have business lawyers-anti-scammers among us? Why we can not unite and take Online Green Pages to court? I make them to pay us some millions in return for violation of our privacy and for scamming our business?

Just got this call yesterday they have been calling non stop for a while so I listened to the whole thing and said yes to all their questions. The operator kept telling me it was free each time I asked if I would be charged for this service. She also kept talking over a recording that I'm sure was saying that I would be charged for the service but of course I couldn't hear them say that. I called the support number they gave me 1 866-303-2475 to cancel and it seemed pretty easy to get this done, now just to wait and see if I get charged, not looking forward to that fight!

what a damn scammers do that onlinegreenpages have. . .are there good lawyers in here? can anyone make some move in-order to stop this [***] scams?

How about if we found out that those scammers aren`t americans?
can we go ahead and sue them?
is there any way that we can be able to trace the person behind these big scam?

File a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General for your state.  I'm in texas and the url is https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php.  They want to know about these calls and will follow up.  I just filed a complaint.  The more the better.  I have not gotten my phone bill yet and did not agree to any charge.  These people are low and need to be put out of business.  Thank you all for your notes.
