HI this is a shady company called Financial Recovery Systems (FRS). They will also call from a 763 area code. They never give out their business information, like any reputable business would. So if you ever speak to anyone there and ask for information, they will hang up on you. They only want YOUR information; they will not give you theirs.

What they do:
 * They use your personal information to purchase outstanding debts you have on your credit report.
 * Multiply the amount of the original debt to a ridiculous amount, claiming fees and interest.
 * People who may contact you: Virginia Johnson or Mike as of 12/14/10.

What you should NOT do:
  * Don't send them a dime or penny, PERIOD. Once you do, you are bound to what ever they charge you.
  * If you do agree to pay them, DEMAND terms of payment conditions in WRITING before you send them a dime!!! If you don't they will:
             - Sue you without your knowledge
             - Gain a judgment in their favor because of:
                   a. You will not appear because you don't have knowledge of the suit.
                   b. The judge will rule that your initial payment was agreement to pay the full amount.
             - Once a judgment occurs in their favor, they can use your credit report to contact your employer and garnish your wages!

How to get rid of them:
* Ignore them and block them from your phones.
* Contact the company that originally held the debt and negotiate with them. (You don't need a lawyer)
* Once you have the debt settled with the original company, contact the credit bureaus and advise them of the closed debt.
* Once it is removed from your credit report, the FRS trolls should go away or be reported.  
* You will be a happy camper
