These scammers are getting more obnoxious everyday.

Asking to call a different number regarding a claim against me. Sounds like a scam.

Received a call saying he was Joe Thomas & that a claim has been filed against me.  Provided a claim # & a 866-304-1153 for me to call back.

More spammers. Gave me a claim number. Probably calling from a dialer of some sort. I'm going to report them.

I just received a call from 508-379-3477 but left me the 866-304-1153 to call him back on.  He did not leave his name or the company he was calling from, just left me a bogus claim#.  He left me the same message yesterday as well.

I just got a phone call like that today when I called the 800 number they knew of one of my debt. But said they could not send me any paperwork till the balance was paid off.

I received a call today regarding a debt and even stated who the debt is. But when I asked if paperwork can be sent to me they stated that they had sent paperwork to my last known address and I won't be able to receive any form of paperwork till the balance is paid in full. Now I know I owe a debt just want to make sure I pay it off in to the right ppl and not get scammed for trying to take care of a bill.

BS collection attempt, "Joe Thomas" called from number (210) 876-1513 and I hung up, he left msg to call (866) 304-1153 and claim #.  I recognized the voice from the day before when he stated he was with Global Recovery Group, this time he didn't want to say who he was with.  I have zero items in collections btw....

Same MO as other reports. When I called the 800 number they claimed to be a "pre-legal office" but they were careful to say they were not legal offices when I asked. When I laughed at the guy and asked what that even meant, they became angry and said they were going to hang up because I wasn't "taking this seriously enough." Then they tried the same scam a month later from a different number. Don't tell these jokers anything.

Started with the 210 8761513 they left a message saying toncall the 866#, said if the call was not returned she would be sure to make sure that a case would be filed against this person, she tried sounding intimidating, problem was she had the wrong number!
