Smart W calls several times a day, you pick up the phone no one is there. After having them call every half an hour one night. I called the number back. press 1 if you want to have your phone put on their do not call list. Did that. They said it would take 2 to be taken off of of the list. In the mean time I was still being called 3 x a day. After waiting a week on  5/6/10 I called my phone company and asked them to track the calls made to my home phone. Please see how many times they have called since I have been tracking.

I feel harassed.

This number has been calling me multiple times a day for the last couple of weeks. There is never anyone on the line so I have stopped answering but it even leaves voicemails for me without a sound!

Have called our house phone at least 4-5 times today alone.  I have answered and no one is on the line.

i signed up for fastweb, and i've been called by this number 18 times in the past 10 days. i'm getting real sick of it because they never leave an answer. I called back twice and it talked about word smart, and it asked if i wanted to be off the do not call list. i went through the steps and it called again the next day, so i re-put myself on the do not call list. sure enough, the next day in class they called me...they normally called when i was in class, but finally, today they called when i had my phone actually with me, so i answered and it was heavy breathing and a long pause, and finally a woman named sandra spoke and knew my name and everything and asked for my parents. i gave my dad my phone and he told her it was bad timing and she asked for his number or my moms, and he gave it to her (which was dumb). im sick of getting this call every day, and i'm not going to give any info to them because i don't know if they're a real buisness, not just using the excuse of eing word smart, because i found the word smart phone number on their website at 1-800-296-5201

So I just call the number back, after getting a ton of calls.  you get a recording they are offering free software.  if you listen long enough you can push 2 to get your number taken off their list.

I don't know how they got a hold of my cell phone number, but they've been calling it atleast twice a day for several days now.

I've been receiving these calls for weeks now. I finally had a friend of mine (Scary voice) answer. They haven't called back sense. (=

Several calls on caller id. If you call # back & listen to the ad then you have the option to press 2 and enter your phone # to be taken off their call list. I did...just hope it worked!!

Me too..try calling the # back like I did and listen to the brief message about their software special and at the end you have the option to press 2 and enter your phone # to be taken off their call list. Good luck.

I did this after the third call on Monday.  Thought that would be the end of it.  Got a call both Tuesday and Wednesday evening also.  We are back to not answering it and they do not leave a message.  I am reporting them to the National Do Not Call website since we are signed up and this company shouldn't be calling us anyway.

They call me like 5 times a day, or more.  No one is ever on the other line its just silence.  I signed up for fastweb too and if that's what this is I'm going to be Pissed cuz my career councelor told me to sign up and I didn't want to so thats bull.
I wouldnt care as much if someone were just on the other line.

So, I called the number back, and and pressed 1 this time, to place an order. It patched me through to a live representative, and I told her my problem, and as with everyone else who tried this, she continued to beg me to buy the program. So, I told her I already bought one, and was interested in another, and she said "Oh...Ok, Well let me remove your number automatically." I honestly hope it works this time, because next time this happens, I'm speaking to a manager. Hope everyone can try this method and make it work. Cheers. :)

I have received 14 calls from this number since the start of july. And this is not counting the insane number of calls i received DURING school from this number. last time i checked, people who are selling something related to school should know better than to call someone during school hours.
Ive asked this number to stop calling me four times now, and they just called again. its starting to borderline on harassment if you ask me. They have also called and hung up on me many times, without saying anything at all. Today, i told them once again to stop calling me and the guy got extremely mad, and lied about a scholorship opportunity that he was supposed to contact me about, RIGHT AFTER offering to sell me stuff. obviously he was lying, and im sure i'll get another call from them tomorrow.

IM SO SICK OF THESE PEOPLE.

This is fairly ridiculous. I signed up for Fastweb and it looks like it's coming from that... Disappointing. I signed up for the Do Not Call list... But it looks like that won't work.

I keep taking my name off the list says to hit 1 to speak to someone which I did so I could tell them to stop calling every time I hit 1 it would hang up the call

My daughter has received 16 calls from this number in the last 5 days, with 5 of those calls today.  No message ever left, but I will answer it for her and try to manae the situation.

Just an update on my part, I have not received any calls from them since I got a hold of them by calling back, and pressing 1. I know "Kate" said she tried that, but try it after a certain time frame, maybe they'll change shifts?

I guess as a last result, anyone could go to their service provider and ask to have the number blocked.

They have called me 17 times in one day. When I answered the first time the woman freaked out and hung up, so I just stopped answering. Then the second time I answered the man asked from my parents and I said that they weren't home and he just hung up on me. I'm so freaking tired of these people!!!!
