Saying they are sending someone to my house with legal documents. Also called my dad who is 71 & has never been on ANY of my financial information, nor have I lived at home in 28 yrs.

Called my Daughter as well as myself with a wrong name very similar to mine saying they were needing to verify my info/address for delivery of legal docs between 10-2 from legal support services I’m not in any legal/financial trouble I’m turning 50 this year apparently the scammers come out the woodworks lol

this person left a voice mail about sending legal docs to us and my employer, when we called them back she said there was a open pay day load from 2004, which was wrong or fraud, when we started asking questions about when and where she hung up the phone.

They left a message stating that they will be serving me with legal documents tomorrow between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., they don't state the company they are calling from just that they are from a legal department.  I wonder which address as I am still trying to get 3 California addresses off my records on my credit report as I've never lived in California.

I received a similar voicemail from Chelsea (no last name) stating the same exact message and I owe no debts. The red flag was telling me they are calling from the company legal department without stating the company name and also not fully identifying themselves as a representative from an actual legal department would. The number is more than likely a debt collection company phishing out unsuspecting people who will volunteer personal information over in hopes of getting people to send them money.
