They called me today, but the # came in as 866-312-0905, but the voicemail said to call 866-313-0905. The first guy I spoke with had all my information from 5 years ago and said I took out a cash advance loan and then intentionally closed my bank account and they were going to put a warrant out for a fraudulent check. I told them I had never heard of that cash advance place and they needed to send me info and he hung up on me. I called back and the next person hung up on me. I called back a 3rd time and that lady started arguing with me, so I hung up on her and blocked the #.

Also, FTC on 3 way call with them and said I had to pay. He was drilling them for details and they hung up. Only thing. They were AMERICAN and women!  One sounded southern and was nice--- I don't get her or! Didn't think USA would be trying to SCAM own people

Sorry but I have a big problem with you claiming the FTC on a three way call said that you had to pay.  I think they would would have said the following:
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I think they would have said that this unnamed organization would be required to prove that debt.

Your claiming that the FTC didn't is an outright lie.

Same here....except they were serving formal complaint for wage garnishment. Informed me this was from 2005. Had all info on me. I always spoke to a guy even though a Robin Miner had called. Asked to speak to her and he always came on.

Stated I complaint was filed against me. Wouldn't tell me their company name. So since they wouldn't give me any information, I didn't give them any information.

Funny thing, the year they said this took place, with my information they gave me (other than the unknown cash advance place), didn't line up. I wasn't even living in that state when they said I took this cash advance. Like I said, they hung up as soon as I said they needed to send me info about this company. The 3rd person (the one I hung up on), said they didn't have to send me anything, which is BS.
