initial call was from a UNKNOWN NUMBER stating I was going to be served for a court appearance.  Was told I needed to contact the law firm Lakewood and Associates.  I contacted them and they asked if I would be home at a certain time so I could be served paperwork for the court date.  This was not the first time I had a call like this and did a little research in the past.

I asked them for the case number that was filed in my state and was told it would be given when I was served....  Not the way it works.  No open case within the state against me through a state search.  I then told them to go ahead and send a courrier to "air qoute" serve me the paperwork that had not been delivered in the past.  He then told me that I can go ahead and "air quote" not call back again.

I was told this was from a debt back in 2003, well past the statute of limitations.

I also received a call from the same number and they told me the same spill the told Joe. The number they told me to call is 866-313-3662. Well Thank you,  I'm happy  checked it out first.

Scam! Real process servers don't call in advance.

I just got the same call . It was from unknown caller and they left a message to call them at 866-313-3662.  They said failing to respond MAY result in legal action.
I don't have any legal issues, this reeks of scam.

Same thing with me they even called my job. wth WHAT IS THIS????

A scam, as has already been stated.

Received a call and even called my ex-husband about being served and gave a reference case number.  That the firm has documented the call and that legal proceedings may take place without my knowledge.

Same as Joe .. they even called my work to ask what the policy was for serving papers.

Blocked number left voicemail stating that I would be served legal documents. SCAM!

Scam caller... Same as the rest:  A call came in from an unknown number with blather about being serves and proceedings taking place without me.  Only, in my case, the caller claimed to be with my county's "process service division." which I promptly googled.  And not only did I find out there's no such division or agency or whatever; I found out that my county does not license or allow private process servers at all.  Here, process service is handled by the sheriff's department or a member of the state's bar, otherwise it's a scam.

This exact thing happen to me today.  But, in my case they reached out to HR and they sent me a letter that had all their information on it.  It was a loan from 2004 and also threatened to repo my current 2019 Infinit, put boots on my car and that would cost $250 a day! They also threatened to garnish my wages! Is that even legal?

What makes you think scammers care if something is legal or not?

It’s scammers don’t answer block them!!! I be getting so many calls from a girl by the name of Ari Flores and some man they called me saying they had papers served for me. I checked with the court and my record is clean I don’t have no claims. These are the numbers they call from  909-925-1409 & 1-866-313-3662 they also call from a blocked number please block them and report them and never give any information out!!!

Scam please becaware.  Very pushy they called my work place to.

Received a call from an unknown number that left a voice message about the same. Found this as a result of looking up the number they left. I have no legal situations or debt.
