SCAM telling me I ordered from there company,

received a bill for $889 for online services that we never ordered.  They played back a tape recording that was suppose to be proof that I ordered services from them.  All you here is mumbling and confirming our address and who they were speaking to.  

I want this company investigated.  Thank you

I just rec'ed an angry call from Amanda Johnson claiming we owed them money but of course we never ordered their services. They have been bugging us for over a year! Who can we report this to?

The company that contacted us was Online Services

Received a call saying that my organization owed $889 for a DVD and online services.  When I said that I had not ordered the video and had returned it unopened, they said that the online services work had been done and I still owed for that amount.  They sent a fax for me to sign to close my account which would cost $394.50.

Amanda Johnson, also claims we ordered services, refuses to provide proof, etc.  Told her she was noted online as a scam and she became combative, I hung up!

Received a phone call asking me to "update" my account information.  When I asked what the company was and explained that we did NOT have an account with them and did NOT need their services, they ignored what I said and sent me something via mail anyway.

They spoke very fast and were very evasive about what their specific services were.  When I called to resolve the "mistake"  I was played back a recoding "proving" that I ordered their services.  

The recording was about 5 seconds long, of the rep mumbling about sending me an invoice, at the end of which I said "Okay", and the recording cuts off.  What I said though, was "Okay, WAIT A MINUTE...." and went on to reiterate that there was no way I was getting an invoice because I wasn't interested.

I am reporting this to the Attny General's Office to see what other measures I need to take to protect our credit.

American Business Finder - On Line Services - called me stating I ordered their B2B Directory.  A lady then played a voice mail from me obtaining our address and mentioned a cost of $899, to which I inquired what the cost was for.  She said for the directory and I said oh, ok.  Prior to this call a gentleman called me and informed me a bill was forthcoming.  When I asked him to play me my request to order he said someone would call me back. I had no intention to order a B2B directory, as our business is very specific and feel these folks manipulated me by almost convincing me I ordered something that I didn't.  I am not paying them, as they will just move onto the next person if it continues to work. They also have a voice mail that answers the main number everytime, unless you have a specific ext.

with me they used a confirmation of address scam to get a recording of me and then later tried to use it to say I had ordered from them. I can not purchase anything I am an office worker, beware of these people

Emma from Business Network Power/Online Services called regarding a past due invoice from 1/30/08 stating this was a second attempt to collect payment in the amount of $889 plus $66.68 in service charges.  She faxed a copy of the invoice along with a message that payment must be received within 30 days to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and added expenses of late service fees.  After finding this website and all the comments regarding this scam, I faxed the invoice back with SCAM in big letters and advised them not to contact us again.

Virginia K called (message) and faxed an invoice of $889.00 for services not ordered. I did not call them back but did call the Attorney Generals office and ordered a complaint form. I will file that. Take such action against them and perhaps you can save others the misery.

First time having any contact with this company was by them saying they were a collection agency and we owed $889 plus service charges.  After asking for a copy of this bogus invoice for services that we supposedly ordered, Jacob Miller sent a fax.  There was 1 of "Business Network Power", which was nothing but a address label - no indication of what was done, and 6 "Service Charge" handwritten in for $80.01. The other part they messed up was the person that they said ordered the service has not worked here for years.

If you have the time, play along with these bozos and "look into it" and keep asking them for more information.  Let them waste time and long distance charges for a while before telling them to go to he11.

Monica Curtis has been harassing us hard since last fall, claiming we owe $889 for some bogus phone conversation I had with some one a couple of months ago. The previous owners of my company had the same exact experience. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!

they have called me 4 times today stating that my company owes them money for an ad that we have not placed . when u tell them that they get very nasty on the phone and say they are sending u to collections. the lady played a recording that u could barely hear but ok at the end of the tape. it is a complete scam and i am contacting the attorney generals office. there number is 866-333-4666

This is an update to our previous entry.  Online Services continues to send us "invoices" and billing faxes and making phone calls trying to "settle our collection".  The Atty. General could not help us (they advised us to hire our own attorney to file a cease and desist) but said to keep filing against the company in order to build a history against them.
