Got a call said they someone had file a complaint against a home with court docs.

Received a call saying I had a complaint in a file on me try to call back no answer

Very fishy phone call from Houston Texas Message said to call 866# as I was being sued. Called the 866# and was told I had a delinquent credit card - one I never had. Googled lawyer, no such person. Website given is generic, address is in riverside, ca. Google maps puts that address in a ups box store. Phone number is a mobile phone in Kansas. Called the credit card company and verified that they do not have a card in my name.

What was company name?

There is no company name.  They are thieves trying to intimidate into paying money on a non-existent debt.

These guys called mw aswell said i was going to be served with court papers today on a credit card debt that wasnt even mine...not to mention it is over 15 yrs old...i waited and still.no process server....theys just people trying to colle t on old accounts that they have purchased....prolly in a hotel room.sumwhere...statue of limitation in texas is 4 years....check your state for (sol)....if they wana sue you they will.doit within that time frame....

I got a call from 866 315 0521 - asked for his number and he said - the one on caller ID - told him I don't have caller ID - what is your number - mam it is the same as the 866 315 0521 number I told you to call....if you call the 866 315 0521 they will ask you for your reference number - if you don't have it they will tell you to get it......and call back - we are just a notification service (him) you have to call the 866 315 0521 number give them your reference number and they will get you in contact with attorney - It is against the law for me to say anything more

They said they were the arbitrator, I said a collection agency, they said hired or that they were law affiliated. court papers filed and I would be going to court civil complaint against me. they gave me an extension and a reference number??? I said I needed paper work or prof of debt... he said "its time sensitive window of 10 min."  I don't know, not one call till today then it was like extortion with 3 choice... settle now 400.00 off/ make 280.00 dwn pymnt w mo instalments of 100.00 a mo./ or go to court at 3,500 in court cost and lawyer fees. What????? I'm calling my layer for advice and research.

First they called my spouse's number stating they were looking for me about "my case" and gave a case number. When my wife asked them how could they have a case and not know my number they couldnt answer her....she decided to call me to let me know of course. So i called them. They asked me my full name. I said if i had a case wouldnt they know who i was based on my so called case? Then i asked them why they called my spouse if they were looking for me. He could tell in my tone that i was not about to be fooled. He then said "OK OK is your last 4 ss# 5134 - i said of course not" - Then he said they got the wrong person and said sorry. I told them to NEVER call ME or my spouse again. Shady @ss ppl trying to trick innocent people to get money by threatening them saying they have a case or some pending debt. I hope you all get caught, charged, and go to jail or pay innocent ppl back! Effing Losers.

I got this call today on an account from year 2000. It was dillards they said. He had all my info. I called wells fargo and synchrony who bought tbose accounts..no one can dind any info

Careful....they have switched to IRS calls now. Always remember, the IRS doesn't EVER call.

Yes I just got one of those calls about 5 minutes ago and told them I was calling the cops on them.

Called left a broken up msg on purpose said about a debt.no details. Scammers.

They called me and said my family and I are being investigated for fraud and the US government is filling a lawsuit in my name?

They said  me and my family were being investigated for  fraudulent activity by the United states government and that. By not responding to the call a law suit would be filed in my name against me .  Was a recording. And very choppy.  Cut out a few times on the voice mail.  How stupid do people think we all are

Same experience as others. It was a voice from a computer, stating I was in trouble for fraud with the US Government. Its not real.

Same spiel as every other post below. Call, demand payment on unverified debt, yadda yadda yadda...

Curiously, this has occurred twice in the past and each time was immediately after I had looked at refinance options via Lending Tree. Doubtful it is a coincidence.

Just got a call from the same number. Didn't answer but the voicemail i got was choppy, like an automated voice (like siri or alexa) saying i was being sued by the U.S gov. Last i checked they don9call about those things...

Called back 866-315--0521 and the person who answered , with an Indian like accent, said "thank you for calling back IRS."  Hung up and did not give any further information
