This is a new one, of many harassing calls.

I had an old credit card in the service as well, but I paid it before I got out in 2001. in 2001 or 2002 I had a call from a collection agency about this same subject, AFEES (The credit card company) is based in texas, which has a four year statute of limitations on credit debt collection.  So who knows.

Received a message on our answering machine from NCO Financial system index collection company formerly OSI collection services of Utah.  Attempting to collect a debt.  The caller ID came up with Unknown.  They left this phone number to call back.  Called back and they are Army and Air Force and exchange. They are asking me to leave Name phone number and account number because all representatives are busy.  If I leave this information they will get back to me as soon as possible.  I have never been in the Army or Air Force.  Do not know what account they are refering to.  Sounds like a scam

NCO Financial Systems Collection Agency (one of many AKAs) are identity thieves...

I'm getting these calls from NCO Financial stating to call a Medication Company.  I call, tell them I have to look into the charges and that I'll get back to them, but yet they continue to call.  The last one that called said they were verifying my address to send papers.  What does that mean?  NCO isn't a legal firm, so what sort of papers could they be sending.  Not only that, but according them, this is over $300.00.  I still have some investiagtion to do as I don't believe this is my debt, but I'm tired of the calls.

Sorry - I meant "mediation" company.  Which I've done - 2 times now.  The first time to find out what the charges were and the 2nd to tell them that I hadn't forgotten about that and to stop calling.

I keep getting a robo message saying to call Lynn Edwards.  Never states what company or reason.  When I listen to the voicemail I just hear "again that's Lynn Edwards at ###-###-####"  whatever phone number 'she' leaves.

I keep getting calls for 'Lynn Edwards' also.  So unless Lynn is using lots of different phone #s the name is bogus (too). Another sign, IMO, that the caller is fraudulent.

I just received a call from this number 866-3115-2497 stating he is calling from the tax commission and that I owe $150 from 2008.  He wants to know when I'm planning on paying it and said he would note my account.  Funny thing is I have a friend at the tax commission and had him look into my file several times a few years ago and came up empty.
