Same scam crap, new phone number

Scam. Claim you owe money on something, and they either represent a law firm, or are a lawyer, and that you'll be arrested because they are charging you with a crime. Except people/companies can't charge anyone with a crime -only the government can do that. Don't fall for their crap, and if they keep calling, file a police report for harassment.

They called and it was a recording stating that they were responding to a claim filed against me that will result in legal paperwork being sent to your home or employer.  Legitimate companies will not give that information out in a recording to whoever happens to answer the phone.  Companies that are going to send legal paperwork, will just send legal paperwork and not threaten over a recording.

If you call that number, they ID themselves as "Access Services".  Lady wouldn't give me any more information, just started rambling off numbers.  Hung up on her.  They also call from 866-310-7716.  Same old same old, debt scamming operation.  Threats and so forth.  Ignore and block any calls from this CID or the numbers.

Recording stating "my firm has received a complaint and that I should call to stop further proceedings threatening that I will be served at home or my place of employment or press 1 to speak with a representative. "  Same bogus scam.  Reporting number to U.S.Trade Commission.

Got the same call. As the above mentioned but was about a payday loan. Actually scared the hell out of me. I gave them 20 doors and my debit card number. Researched it and found this forum. Called my bank and cancelled my debit card. They won't refund the 20 bc I gave my card info. I explained that it was based on a scam and extortion. Still no refund

What is "20 doors" worth these days?

Sorry. 20 dollars. Even though it wasn't much it still pisses me off
