Call came from phone number 888-888-8888 and they were looking for the former (2 times removed) homeowner

Debt collector..no process server gives you notice

I got a call that they are serving papers unless I pay a debt from 2-3 years ago.  I don't even know if the debt is correct???

Got the same threading voicemail..This is a scam that needs to be investigated...They call themselves Apogee Credit receivable....they would not provide me with a legitimate phone number, web site and, address for there company...They also would not confirm they are a licensed and legal company...

Mark Stein calls from 866 319 8996 and  866 319 0553, and states your name and says he has your SS#, but does not repeat it. He is very threatening and very intimidating. He states that he has a pending claim being filed against you, and he is just making sure you have the chance to call the true claimant @ 866-410-0235, before you are served in the next two days. Horrible! I pray that he gets karma coming back to him. I hate people like this!

Same as all of the above. When I call back they said it was from some payday loan company that I had defaulted on. No dates, and did not have my entire social either....

Got two phone calls threatening to serve papers on a debt they claim I owe but I dispute owing anything. They say it’s for a personal loan from almost 4 years ago. I’ve never taken a personal loan... so it’s either a scam or my identity was stolen four years ago and used to take out a loan..

SCAM CALL Says I will be served papers at either my residence or my place of work between 12 and 5 on Friday.  They've called before with same threat at least 6 times and I've never been served papers

Mark Stein has called twice so far.  He is informing me that I will be served a "Notice of Intent" on a pending claim against me.  I recently paid off a loan so this scammer must think I have money.  Last year, I paid off another loan and this same Mark Stein called me!  He starts off by speaking slowly but when he gets to end of the call, he is speaking so FAST!  So I guess I'll just wait to be served tomorrow between 12-5, at my residence or place of business.

Told MARK STEIN to stop calling our private number 3 times. We aren't the targeted party. She (claimed to be supervisor) said we were already deleted, yet hung up in a huff. Filed a complaint with the FCC. You should too.

Once again.  The FCC does not have jurisdiction over debt collectors.  The federal agencies that cover that are the FTC and the CFPB.  In addition, your State Attorney General also takes care of these complaints.

These clowns have tried us TWICE IN two years with the same BS.  When you call them back, they demand your SSN!  Like that’s going to happen.  They claim an old debt but refuse to provide any info about it.  Kind of wish feds would do something about these scum.  CFPB does nothing.  Am trying state AG.

These phone numbers are not regular phone numbers he’s calling from, they are hosted by a company called Bandwidth.com
