This is customer service toll free no for QBE Pay in case you are using QBE Pay to pay for your insurance.

This is a phishing number.  This is a hoax to get more information from you to scam you.  Beware.  They pretend to be customer service for QBE Pay, an insurance corporation, but this is not the number.  They are also sending fake emails with payment schedules, account numbers and fake Visa numbers.  Be very careful.

I got their email after mindnight, and they have my old card's last four digit!!!! I'm freaking out!!!!

I got a call from this number and they left a voicemail saying they were calling from QBE about an "urgent matter on my policy". The voice was female, soft, and unassuming. The call came from 1-602-572-4000 but told me to call 866-318-2016 back.

I was suspicious so I called the main QBE customer service number (877-772-6771). They wanted to connect me to their home insurance policy line, and I asked what number it was--it's 866-302-2016.

Getting a legitimate call from a legitimate number is an expectation and not a reason to try reassuring others their caller will be legitimate too. You can't guarantee a scammer won't spoof the number and attempt to phish for personal information.

Never trust the caller to be who they claim, always call an official number to verify if they did.
