They are making threatening phone calls  insinuating that I am under investigation for bank fraud because of 2 outstanding checks - which doesn't add up.

They are saying I am being investigated for some outstanding checks. Funny thing is that I don't have a bank account.

I had a man call my job in regaurds to some bad checks, i have not had an acct in 2 years so i call the numb back anyway only to find out it was in ref to a loan i took out. i do owe it but they didnt hve to tell everybody at my damm job. Thats just wrong.

They called me at work (5 times within an hour) and twice on my cell phone.  Woman said her name was Jessica and that she received notice that I have written two bad checks and am being charged with defrauding a financial institution.  Gave me a number to call (this one) and said they would be serving me papers at work or at home.  I dont write checks so dont know who it is.  They block the number so it cannot be anyone legitamate.

I received this kind of phone call and the same mesage as you got.  Same person call you and call me too. Will it be harmful to our life? is it real we have to go to jail? If anyone know about this kind of this phone call, please advice.

Got the same call. We called local sheriff about it ! This is a scam ! They asked for SS # and checking accnt #. When we questioned it and asked what was there company they hung up ! Don't tell them anything ! Ask for it in writting ! Police told us its a scam !

They call mend leave a voice mail that they are going to bring some papers to my house tomorrow between 12 to 5 pm...and I have to sign and return. Ahh and to show my ID for proof.  I did call this number that they told me to call.  LLC attorney?  Is regarding delegation?? They want  me to give them my last 4 number of social.  I told no!!  If they need to bring some papers send it to me; and will contact my lawyer.  They said they can't give any information by phone. This is terrible!!!

These guys are relentless. They keep calling even after I mistakenly picked up and told them to leave me alone. The threat is now that they are adding "additional charges that will be attached because of your lack of cooperation"  "In order to prevent further action you must contact that firm today. Good luck".

Hi this is happening to us now!
They are even calling our neighbors!  Any advice?

Please report any threats made by this company, or any FDCPA violations to the NYS Attorney General by filling out the online complaint form here (pick Buffalo location)  or call 716-853-8404 for a form.  They cannot sue you or send a process server, they can't arrest you - these would be false threats.   They are NOT attorneys or a law firm.  DO NOT give them any social security numbers .  Save all calls or messages where possible.
