Heard someone in the background but hung up before anyone actually spoke to me.

Mine was on 8/24 around 7 pm, some asian lady with good english was on the other end talking about won a free vacation [can't remember to where and there was so much background noise in the call of other people chatting it felt like a newsroom freaking out over some major story] and knew our family member's name - did a little play along and said 'I can't believe it! Really!' and starting giggling and really selling it - the asian lady laughed right along with me, "Yes, really! Can you believe it?' or something like that, then she said so... something, something - probably if she could confirm me for it or something - damn I wish I could record these things.

I stayed silent for the rest of the call to which the lady repeatedly said 'hello?' because she thought she had a sucker - 30-40 seconds of 'hello?' later she finally hung up. 2 days later, received a mailer saying I won a free vacation [which I assume is from these same people] from Hyatt Vacation club, Wild Oak ranch in San Antonio.... Phone number 1-866-713-0284 to RSVP. And must be done within 72 hrs.

On the back, in tiny print: 'Participants must attend a 90-minute sales presentation at our Hyatt Vacation Club sales center located at the resort, 9700 W. Military Drive, Suite 200 San Antonio, TX 78251. The funny part: If married, cohabitating or engaged, or if single and bringing a companion, it is required both persons attend the sales presentation. Eligibility: Participants must have an annual income of $60,000, be creditworthy and be at least 27 years of age. Must be permanent United States residents.

I know this is a scam..hehe

They are also now calling under the guise of "We are representing companies that buy businesses..." and proceed to ask for all of your business details - contact info, location, mailing address, annual income...

These guys call usually three, four times a week, but they never say -anything-. Phone rings, I stop what I'm doing and answer it, (this is a business phone, mind you) I get the sound of an open line, then a disconnect. I'm busy, here, I don't have time to answer this kind of junk! I -hate- these people.

Wants to speak to the owner. Hangs up when I say the owner is not reachable at this number.

I got a call from 360-742-1885a short while ago .About a minute later another call came from the numer866-321-4187. It sounded like the same man. Do you think it is a scam.

Idiots are calling me everyday and it's so loud in their background I can hardly hear. Leave me alone!

Just got a call from this number. It is 9:40 at night. Who are these creeps?

9:56 pm-- REALLY??  Isn't that illegal?  I thought that they could not call after 9pm.

Received call at 9:24pm - did not leave a message.  My call was the same as about callers - they need to stop calling after 9:00pm

As a rule, I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. I figure if it's important enough, they can leave me a voicemail. People that know me realize this about me and they also know that I'll call them right back if it turns out that I know them.

Anyways, my standard procedure with a number I don't recognize is to look it up online if no message is left. If it turns out to be junk, as is the case with this number, I add that number to my blocked list on my cell and it doesn't bother me again. Anyways, I appreciate the info received here and hopefully my info will help people avoid dealing with these people excessively. Have a great day.

NAIL THEM!  Feel free to use things like Google Voice and call them back from untraceable #'s and harass them like they harass you!  Oh wait, I called you 50x and bugged the crap outta you after you woke ME up and it says my phone # doesn't exist either???  Awwww I feel back [***]!

Payday Relief - repost this to all reporting sites, my #'s on the DNC list and these dickless worms were never given any permissions ANYWHERE to be calling me...

they called me at 10.05 last night I am in bed by 9:00.

They call me every day as well! Fraud! Scam! Don't give them any information or pick up to entertain these slimeballs.
