I got this msg....is it true?

I am getting text from 866-321-8371 and can not get them to stop

I got the same message about the Wal-Mart Gift Voucher! I called it to see if it was true. I talked to two ladies at that number and they made everything sound official. Weird thing is, I've tried to call the number back today and I can't get through :-/

This is a company who claims they will give you four $25.00 gift vouchers to use at retail store not just Wal-Mart, these vouchers are good for one year they claim. They claim you have been recommended by your bank or credit card company and want to verify if you have a Visa, Master Card or Debit card. They'll ask you for the phone number you received the call or text from ask your name & address.

Then they hit you with they will send you magazines for $4.75a week claiming to be major magazines they will also send you a list to choose from if you don't like the magazines they send and you can call them to exchange for the  ones you want.

After they get all your info you are asked if you are 25 or older, I told the Rep no she asked if I was18 I said no I'm just 16 and she said well call back when someone is there 18 or older. I was laughing out loud after I told her my age.  

I gave her a fake name to begin with.  I hope this helps someone.

Give them a call tell them you are a minor.

I got a text from 866 321 8371 too but i never trust those things its just a BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

This # showed up as a text on my cell phone and i'm on the do not call registry!  There seems to be no end to these annoying calls and now text messages.  Thank goodness for 'delete'!
