Supposedly I accepted/won a promotional gift and it included a subscription to ID Watchdog. I have a standard script myself whenever I am approached by telemarketers regarding what I "just won", "selected to win", chosen as a finalist" because of my "great credit history"-that is the biggest joke not sure what list they're looking from-but I'm going through the process now of having the charges reversed and credited back to my account, but they had to get my information before I could get their information(which validates their mailing list making me a "viable" resell-that's another trick)I was given this # as the company that authorized the transfer of my name to ID Watchdog and ID Watchdog doesn't have this companies name listed by name only by "campaign codes" because they have so many avenues for enrollment. ID Watchdog is supposed to be versed in identity theft, guess they missed this one, but this ole girl is mad as #$@^#!% and I'm not taking this sitting down, I've been waiting for a chance to use my "preprinted" letter to the State Attorney General's Office on Consumer Fraud!...........LOL!

My mother received a call from this company "National Readers" (located in Tampa, Fl) and because the lady "Lynn Miller" was so hard to understand my mother gave me the phone.  They told me because my mother was a loyal Visa Card customer with card number ending in xxxx she had won a $100 wal-mart gift card and a "package" would be mailed out to her.  The lady then asked me if I was an authorized user, I said no, the lady then stated that she would need to speak with my mother to "verify information" I told the lady that my mother would call back and I took her name, phone number, and where she was calling from. I then called my mother's bank and told them what had happened.... the bank told me that this had "SCAM" written all over it and told me that the bank would never call to verify/confirm info. because they already have it.

DO NOT CONFIRM ANY INFO, IT'S A SCAM... CALL YOUR BANK AT LEAST TO GIVE THEM A HEADS UP

I was looking for federal grant to help start a new business and I felt this was a scam but went through with it anyway. I was offered a 100 dollar walmart card if I joined this grant director site. A couple of day later they called my home and asked for the address again to confirm so they could mail my card to me and I still have not seen it . I now have to go the bank and change accounts cause to many people have my acct #
  After one day grant director  started pulling money from my account so I called them and told them to cancel anything we had done and give me a refund. They agreed to do this but I have not seen any money back as yet BEWARE AND DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE TALK YOU INTO ANYTHING AS I DID.
