Same as Will above. Popup locking computer supposedly from Windows security. I did not call. Was able to remove by turning off both the laptop and wi-fi.

Exactly, they got me like this a few years back but got wise to this scam they locked up my computer and every time they would lock it up it would cost me more and more money to unlock it. I got tired I took it to staples and it was so infected that we had to get a new computer, but the man in Staples told me next time that happens to just shut my laptop down completely, many scammers need to get a job other than scamming people. I guess they called us their job (taking other people’s money) sickening
