I traced it back to "American Honda Finance".

I got a call from this number it was automated and as soon as I said hello the automation said "goodbye". I called it back and they said it was A&L recoveries.

I have a brand new cell phone.  There are only FOUR people that I have given this telephone number to.  How come I am getting these telephone calls nearly every day?  Who the heck are these people and where did they get my telephone number?  It had to have been from the company I am signed up with as my provider.  SPRINT, what have you done to me?  Are you profiting from harrassing me and making me pay for minutes this company is using?

I got the same calls from them!

You can join the "Do not call" list from  The State of CA. If you are in California. They will take your Hm  number and your cell number. You can turn them in too. They will get into a lot of trouble. It may be www.donotcall.org Not sure. Good luck.

The phone rang.  When I picked it up and said, "Hello," the voice on the other end simply said, "Good-bye," and hung up.  Strange.

I missed the call but got a message from a real person.  He said his name was george garcia and he needed to speak about an important business matter and that he would appreciate a call back today.  He knew my first and last name.  I never called back.

This is a debt collection agency

We receive a call almost daily from this number, but there is almost never anyone there.  "Almost" because one time a voice said "Please hold" but there was nothing forthcoming but silence.

I got a call from this 866-323-4999 number daily as well. And every time I answered it says "Please hold" too.

Do  not call again

I have a new cell phone and get a call from this number daily. An automate voice says 'please hold'. When i call the number back it is A...something recoveries. Maybe A&L. Maybe AMO (a collection agency.)

This is yet another AMO Recovery caller. They have called me repeatedly (just about every day) to try and reach an unknown party. I have asked them to stop but they keep calling and rudely keep requesting this unknown person despite the fact that I ask them to stop. How DO I get them to stop? This is harrassment plain and simple but they hang up on me if I insist that they give me someone else. I have also had calls from 1-440-414-1700, 1-866-907-3602, 1-866-907-3603 and 1-440-721-7986...JUST THIS WEEK!
