This is the Citibank Customer Service number for help on CUNY's financial aid Access Card: Scholar Support

I recently got a scam letter from "citi" with this phone number attached.  However, the address and the account ID were fake.  The letter also states that the phone number is for risk and unclaimed accounts.  The number is really for lost or stolen cards, not as previously stated.  I called the actual Citi bank and talked to a customer service representative and they also had no luck.  If you get this letter in the mail double and triple check that it is actually from Citi before you send anything back!

I received the same letter and after talking to more than six departments at Citi no one could help me they just kept passing me around.

I got a text mag , "Welcome to Citi Prepaid Text Services. Standard messaging charges apply. Text HELP for help. STOP to cancel."  No idea what this is... sent STOP.
Got reply msg,"You have cancelled Citi Prepaid Text Services. You will no longer receive text messages from Citi Prepaid. To renew this service text START to 8997."
no clue...

I got the same letter. They claim I have a refund coming of a random amount. Weird thing is...the date I am to respond to the letter is May 30th 2013. That is a year ago! So fake. No bank would be that behind. They think we are dumb.

And don't be excited as it is all fake. I received the same e-mail as the others did.I rely and i advise not my A/C and I will report to the Local Police Authority.I got in touch with City Bank and the bank representative advised it is fake ..Do not provide any personal or bank details.

Why are you asking a question from someone who posted here 2 years ago?  Do you really expect an answer from that person?
Here is a free hint.  Amazon has a wonderful customer service dept.  Why not call them and ask instead of coming here with a question no on can answer?

I talked with them, they pretanded to be from prepaid citi lost prevention, or something like that.  I had my money taken, stolen from citiprepaid and they called to listen , I think they are behind

My caller ID shows 800 Service, no message left, and I did have a Citi prepaid gift card stolen, and had to submit a declaration of fraud.  If they want me to pick up the phone, they should adjust their caller ID to have something to do with Citi and not a generic 800 Service name that comes through with a ton of other scammer phone calls.

May I please ask your assistance on how to change my PIN Number ASAP.

You are asking some random person on the internet who posted in 2013, 3 years ago how to change your pin number?  Take the money out of the bank and burn it.  You are obviously not smart enough to have a bank account.
