Why didn't you put this information up front?

A robot named Matt Carter left a message on my answering machine to call him before 5:00 P. M. that he had a client interested in buying the car I had for sale. The call came in on my caller ID as Unknown but the robot gave me the number 866-326-9921. I googled and found it to be a scam.
I had a feeling something was rotten about that call. My intuition paid off.

I came near to getting involved with these jerks after I got a call from their "robodialer"  but after reading all the many complaints about how they scam folks I passed it up.  What really surprises me is that whatever agency with the chops to do so hasn't shut down these phoney baloneys after all these years.

got a call from this # wanting to help me sell my car and charging me $228 before it is sold. It is the third such call in the last 24 hrs. They are ALL scams! PLEASE get rid of this problem asap.

"Matt" has called twice, leaving a message both times.
They just told us to go to www.amsvehiclesales.com and that they were in good standing with a "business bureau" of some kind. I asked for Matt, but Angie said  he gave the info to her. They must have caller ID, because I hadn't told her yet who I was. I then asked: "if you are in the business to match buyers with us sellers, then why are we, (the seller) the ones paying the fee? Aren't the buyers paying you a finders fee?" Her answer was that the seller pays, not the buyers.
Hhmmmm, if you are a matching service and you already have buyers for my motorcycle, you sure are generous to your buyer-clients!! Why should I pay their finders fee????

It would be very easy for them to lift our photos to place on their sites, whether legit sites or not. ;)

My phone automatically rejects calls from unknown callers, and I was sitting in class and got this random missed call and a voicemail.  Turns out it was Matt Carter that "left me a message a few days before" which was bs.  He had another client that was interested in a vehicle just like mine.  I've had a few other items I had someone try to scam me with on craigslist before, now the guy has my cell phone number.  He better not call me again.....

A " Q & A " on here by them?  You've GOT to be kidding me! They seem like a scam to me after ten minutes s of google resarch. The q & a thing is seriously annoying!!!!!

a person left a message ;  Dave Mitchell  from Longwood, Inc.   Wants to sell a vehicle for us.  Says he has a client looking for the exact item we are trying to sell.  We don' t have a vehicle for sale ??? duh!!!   Called the number he left 866-326-9921  a voice message with promps on selling a vehicle, if your a customer, if you need service, or if you want to be removed from their call list   number 4.  Spoke to a real person and they took our number and said they would remove it from their call list......we will see.

Rec'd call from Matt Carter 866-326-9921 with a request to call him re my vehicle. Interesting ... my Craig's List listing never appeared due to some programming (scam?) problem. Really tired of getting pestered.

Have received several calls from Matt Carter @ Longwood Inc. in regards to a vehicle I have listed on Auto Trader. He implies he has buyers for my vehicle, and for a small fee, he can guarantee me a sale. He won't stop with the calls.

Put my suburban up for sale and got call from "Matt Carter." All calls I answered were hang ups.

A David Mitchell called stating he is from Longwood Inc. and left me a message saying he's responding to my ad on craiglist & have a buyer who is interested in my car or want to help find a buyer.  Supposedly, with the intentions of helping to sell my car...then wanting to know my address. Its a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!People don't respond or talk to them period!
Do the research for yourself....and you will see!  Just google the business or the phone number.

Just got a call from Matt Carter on my phone it came up as unknown so i know that's bull$#!% and i Google the number on the message to see who it is .. Longwood Inc. He left a message on my cell to call him back before five..... and i had my car on Craiglist to but i deleted the ad 5 day's before this call so they have matslist LOL.

This is a scam.  Or possibly a scamola.  My call was from "Matt."  You have to admit though, "Longwood" is a funny name for a company.

Most of you nailed Matt Carter's script to the dot on the "i". Just got his phone call. At least I had the presence of mind to look him and company up....I say a laundry list of complaints. Thanks for the heads up everyone.
