First they left a voicemail stating that they are calling regarding a package delivery, so I called back because I ordered some stuff online for Christmas present. When I called they told me that they are calling from a district court and they are issuing me a warrant of arrest because of loan that I never paid back which is a lie bec never had a loan taken out, they wanted me to pay $390 now so they won't issue a warrant of arrest. The company wasn't even stated.

The same thing happened to me from this SAME number. Threatened to issue a warrant for my arrest for a loan I took out online 6 years ago - a lie - I never wired any money online.  They called twice!!!  I googled the address this Gyendlyn Aris gave me and it was the Hyatt Hotel in Chicago, IL!  I called the FTC and told them and they said not to answer this number again.  This is a SCAM.  thank you for posting this.  It happened to me this afternoon.

I had the same call, but they wanted to speak to my husband. He called back, because he too ordered stuff online, and they told him to wait at an old address we haven't lived in for 7 years for the sheriff to arrest him. And said we're harassing them. Crazy.

I just received the same phone call! Scared me to death! I had a missed call from 866-372-6060. They left the same voicemail stating that it was about a delivery and left that same number 866-329-6690 for me to call back. When I did they told me that I had tried to contact me numerous times between 2010 and 2012 for a loan I supposedly received in 2009. She read back my address and email address and and my address and said they just wanted to verify all my info because if I do not pay them $568.02 by 3pm today I will receive a court summons and basically be going to jail until my debt is resolved. I asked her what company she was calling from and she said Cardinal Legal and she said the loan was from Quincy financial. Cardinal Legal is based in Chicago and I could not find anything on Quincy financial but they would not give me a phone number, I asked for a claim number, they didn't have one. I told them to send me another certified letter or at least an email and she said she couldn't, that it had to be resolved by 3pm today or I was going to jail!

I just recieved a voicemail message from a woman named "Brandy" she stated that she had a fax for me and needed my address in order to deliver it.  She left a call back # of 866-327-0608 but the number on my caller ID was 866-327-0608.  This is a total scam, I didn't even call back because I recognized the # she called me from on my phone and had blocked that number due to threats, scams etc. No one needs your address to fax you something, they called my phone so why not ask for my fax # in the message??? Don't even call them back!! If you are expecting a delivery from an order you've placed, you can call them to verify.  These people are total frauds!! Also, you cannot be put in jail for a debt, it's a civil matter not criminal.

Don't spend any more time talking with them and whatever you do, don't give them any personal information.  You cannot go to jail for a debt, and even if you did have a loan in 2009, the statute of limitations has probably run out and they cannot compell you to do anything. Your information has been sold to these pit bulls hoping that they can threaten, scare and lie thier way into you giving them money. Don't do it!!  Call your local court clerks office both civil and criminal, they can tell you if there is a case open on you, I would bet there is nothing! Block their number or ignore any other calls.

I got the same message yesterday on my cell and business number.. I called it back- blocking my number.. I could tell it was a total scam..  They don't  answer professionally - and no company name is ever given..  They wanted to deliver a package to me and needed me to confirm my address, what company does that "scammers" block their number!

I got a call from a Brandy as well... They are trying to scam people!!! Block their number..

I received same message about Package but was unable to reach "Brandy" at the 866-329-6690 number.  I will pass this info along.  thank you!!!
