My brother got a call from this number today for me and i live in pa he said he was in or. He said he was with Harper and associates that there was a court case open for me blah blah...its a scam i don't know how they got his number. Watch out people!

You can go on the web today and find out everything there is to know about a person.  You are right, this is a scam, and they are calling friends, neighbors, and family to both embarrass you and to create panic so that you call them back and you will be sufficiently softened up to pay them extortion money.

Got a call from this number today but it didn't appear I just said private number and they left me a message saying that they had a matter for me and I needed to be home between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday in order to sign a document that was going to be delivered to my house and that I needed me to call and confirm to let them know that I will be home in order to sign this document... Also said they were with Harper and Associates and that if I didn't call and confirm that to understand they know my residence address and I would be paid a visit....

Came across phone as Unknown.  Did not answer bu they left a message that the message was for Adam, calling on behalf of judicial support services - we need yourself, your attorney to contact the offices of Harper & Associates at 866-332-0399 provide file #67474......blah, blah, blah!  Definitely Scam!

Called on a number that displayed as "Restricted" (my daughter first! - said they couldn't reach me) regarding a bank account that had been closed over 10 years ago.  Said there was an outstanding balance with interest.  If I didn't settle with them, they would take me to court for a judgement, and I would be liable for balance, interest, court costs, attorney fees etc...  The address they had listed for me was the address of the house I was living in when the account was closed.  They needed to know my intent by tomorrow, if I couldn't find proof that I didn't owe it by then (over 10 year old records! by tomorrow!!) and settle, they would proceed with a court case.  Should have known it was a scam - the "lawyer" said his name was "Sean" - What lawyer doesn't give his full name and title in an attempt to intimidate?
