Incredibly difficult to understand - I'm guessing he was Indian. Calling from Embarq about what great upgraded service we would get for cheaper than we are paying now. Then he started asking specific questions and I told him I'd call him back. No idea if it's legit or not.

We received the same phone call.  I called Embarq and the customer services rep. informed me that it was not a legit company.

I got a call as well, telling me that Embarq had upgraded service in my area and lowered the price. "Annie" told me she needed to verify some information and because something seemed off to me, I declined answering any questions and asked for a call-back number.
