Call came as an unknown did not answer and they did not leave a message. Called that number and they said they were from Law Enforcement & educational Program.  Last fall they called under an 800 number.

We have caller ID.  This number calls 3-4 times a day for past 2 weeks.  When I do answer, they ask for my husband.  The one time that I ask what it was concerning, the guy said that he was from Amber Alert (which doesnt make sense.)  The other 2 times that I answer, he said that he was from Law Education Service.  I have been concern about what was going on, but seeing above entries, it seems that it is some type of scam.

I had a guy call my work and he talked to the front desk lady. He asked to talk to me and she said I wasnt there. He then thought she was me and he cussed her out and said if i didnt give them money then i would be going to jail for a very long time. This guy said he was from a United Legal Investigation Agency and his name was Federal Roy C. The lady from my work talked to my head boss and they said this is a scam. The scary part is when he was talking to the front desk lady he rambled off a social Sec. # to her he asked if it was my mine. This guy is foreign and he doesnt talk good english. Something needs to be done!!!

This number calls my home 3-4 times a week.  Usually I just hang up, but this time I stayed on the line.  They asked for my wife, when I indicated she was not at home, the individual said 'that figures' and hung up. I called back and got a recording for tht 'law enforcement and education service.'

These people scared my Mother, threatening her is some way about coming to see her tommorow.
This has beem reported to the Police Department, to our service provider and to the fraud division of ATT.
These scum are low lifes, and cowards frightening little old ladies. In the old days they would be tarred and
feathered, as people would and did not put up with stuff like this. What is our society coming to? How do
these people expect anyone to give money to these people when they act like this.

Add this number to your call blocking list! I wonder sometimes if the phone companies make these annoying calls to drum up more fee business.

These idiots are ACS, a supposed "charity" that shills for everything from the Naval Veterans to Law Enforcement.  I have begged, pleaded, screamed, threatened legal action and talked to supervisors until I am blue in the face, but these jerks keep calling! The last supervisor I spoke to said his name was Brent Mills. He gave me a number to call if I keep receiving this calls (which I fully expect I will): 1-877-707-4730.  Both name and phone no. are probably bogus, but it's worth a try.

When I answered the phone it was a recording from a Law Enforcement Education service and they asked me to stay on the line for the next representive.  If they can't be on the line when I pick up I have no interest in talking to them.  Bad phone etiquette.

We have had several calls from this phone number.  I usually don't answer because the caller ID says Out of Area.  When I did answer this time, I said hello several times but got no response.  I could hear chatter in the background, I assume from a call center.  After about a minute and a half, they hung up on me.  After reading the other posts here, I don't plan to answer again.

I received two of these calls last night within 2 hours.  Each time I answered they hung up.  They are a pain.

Same scam as posted in 303-459-5907. A telemarketer hired by a charity to collect donations, usually a law enforcement agency. Follow the same tips found on that thread. There is no shame in suing a telemarketer even if they are trying to get charity donations since they keep most of the money anyway. Charities need to learn that telemarketing is not tolerated by most Americans. Donate directly if you wish but NEVER give to these telemarketers who keep over 75 percent of the money.

They must call twice a day for weeks now I looked to see if I could block them but I can,t because their number shows. Has anyone answered their phone calls just to stop them from calling again?

Received a call from this nuisance today, say's he was Eric/Derrick from some kind of law enforcement ... You Derrick and everyone working with you, people like us are fed up with you being a big nuisance, I know you will not stop calling because it seems you enjoy this job so much of being a nuisance; all I can say is, one day a nuisance like you will call you everyday and do the same stupid thing you are doing to us now....

They call me several times a day.  This phone call originates from Associated Community Services, a third party call center for seemingly legitimate charities.  I did some research on ACS - check out this link for more info and correct contact info:

I mistakenly donated money after a phone solicitation to the Cancer Fund of America.  I then received calls from them for the Children's Cancer Fund of Amercia, and Children's Charitable Foundation.  Law Enforcement Education Program is also on their list.  This company has a long list of client charities, all of whom only receive about 15% of the money donated.  ACS keeps the rest.  Once you are on their list, they will NEVER stop calling you.  These may all be legitimate charities, but donate directly if you want to. Never through phone solicitation.

I took the 1st call from these people (they were asking for money)and told them that I am on the "do not call list."  They keep calling every day.  Sometimes several times a day.  I don't pick up their calls.

I actually got the call from 877-241-8758, supposedly "Law Enforcement Education Program - Amber"   After reading the experiences of other people, I now wonder if they are a scammer group.
Has anyone who spoke to them recently found themselves to be victims of Identity Theft?
