It is a collection agency, I called the number back( long distance call) they answered "CBV collection services"

They are jerks they call and call and call it is ridiculous harassment.

Woke me and my toddler calling my phone 7:30am.  I answered and then was hung up on by automation. I don't owe money to anyone, what do they want from me?? Thanks for the address, Dakota - that will be useful for my revenge.

I get 10 calls a day from this number for the last 6 months. They leave a message the odd time, but never tell me what it's about, so I don't answer or return the call.

Yeah they call me at least 10 times a day, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row, I answered once and actually got a person who told me and I quote " well if you're on a permanent disability, then you're used to a tight budget, so it shouldn't be a big deal for you to tighten your belt and buy cheaper food or go on a diet so you can send us monthly payments"  told the guy to F*** off, hung up on him and stop answering any calls that start with "866" "800" or " 778"

I keep getting phone calls from that number I answered once and was put on hold so I hung up. They've called me at 7am and then 8 more times during the day, including late in the evening. I don't owe money anywhere I am a full time student so I don't know why they keep calling.

1-866-344-6913, This is a number for CBV-vancouver based cellector company. They kept on calling me for a whole week. When I picked it up, I was kept waiting or it hang up automately. I don't owe money to anyone, I just want to know what's their game. So I call back and talk to a lady, ask a appointment to face to face talk. When I meet her at their place, she ask my name, my birthday, my address,  and then she said she made mistakes, the person they want have the same cell phone number with me,  the same name, the same birth date but different year and month, the same address but different unit, so she thought she got the wrong person. By that time I know what they want exactly is my privacy information, but I don't know what they will use it for?  Is there anybody know that? Thx.

They have been calling me incessantly, days, weekends... it is super annoying. I spoke to someone and asked for a statement of what it is this debt is, where they obtained it and how much has been paid. The debt is over 10 years old - technically a statute barred debt, since in BC 6 years is the max. I have read that a cease and desist order is the only way to make them stop. Anyone attempted this with success? They have even  called my mother at 4am - after I asked them to remove her number from their file.

Sorry, I meant to say that I have asked for a statement, and they refuse to send one.

They are doing the same thing to me for a student loan. They buy old debt. I have a lawyer now and am taking them to court for liable and harassment for 25,000$ what they are doing is actually illegal. They have been calling me and Harrassing me for a bill that had already been paid. I told them I was NOT going to pay a bill I have already paid.  The ass who called me told me he was gonna keep calling me everyday all day for the next 6 years.It's all over a She's Fit bill that was paid automatically out of my account every month. I cancelled my memebership then they told me I owed them some sorta of fee.  I guess both of these businesses are just scammers  

I keep getting calls from this number its CBV collections, they buy some of their debts from University of British Columbia...

They also call from 778-330-2288 they only leave messages some of the time... Took me 2 months to figure out who they were the first time since they didn't leave any messages. CBV will also send you emails if they get their hands on your email

Phoning daily when I answered today no response then hangs up.

This company is calling and leaving messages saying that they are verifying employment for Revenue Services of BC for a garnishment order.  SCAM!

Yes, 866-344-6913 is CBV Collections Services.  CBV's robo dialers call on both local numbers and 1-800 style numbers.

Just calls me then hangs up.
