I understand that everyone is frustrated with the calls, but if you just pay your minimum payment monthly, maybe they would stop calling you.

I received 6 calls last night from this number so I decided to call them back. A woman answered "Hello, Capital One, can I have your account number". I let her know that I do not have an account and that my phone was called 6 times. She checked my number in her system and said its not there. Of course its not! She said they are an outbound call centre and that I may get one more call before my number is removed from the calling list and that I may have to let them know to remove it when they call. Why do they have phone numbers of people who do not have accounts with them. This is annoying!

The morons just called me and I don't even have a CC with them.  I guess someone with the same name owes money and they found me through 411.  When I asked why they were calling they were complete jerks about it.  I told them to lose my number.  It sounded like they were all East Indian so for sure 3rd party.

Yes it is Capital One and if we all paid what we owe they'll stop calling, too bad I can't pay them, I am under going cancer treatments, have two little boys, a school that is always on my case to do this or that and Capital One calling me dozens of times a day, sometimes they call three times in three minutes.  I have a phone that blocks them but it does ring once before it disconnects them, they have used 9 different numbers to call me.  I have spoken with them but really there is no point to do so again.  They are so nice to me!  They changed my interest rate immediately too, from 9% to 29.9% and tack on more fees each month.  So how does that help?  If I owed $5000 and you change your charges to make me owe you $9000 how do you think you can collect the higher amount when I can't pay the lower one?  With all this crap I am not doing well in treatment, I have a brain tumour and they add to my headaches.  I finally said they should just wait and see if I live or not!  Then they asked if I had life insurance!  Ya and I plan on leaving my insurance to Capital One and not my 5 and 8 year old!  I bet they will try to get it though.  Maybe I will go declare bankruptcy then they can get 50 cents!

don't you think people would pay if they could?  Sometimes life changes in a hurry, do you have extra insurance so if you are hit with a tragedy your minimum payment is covered?  What if your spouse died and you had cancer and two kids?  You sure you can keep up the payments?  Pay funeral costs?  Not able to work but have all your expenses covered?  I sure wish I had all those things

They have been calling incessantly over the last few weeks.  Have been asked to leave a message, and of course they don't want to.  They were also told not to call back.  This morning they called 3 times before 10 am.  They will also resort to blocking their number so that is comes up as  "unknown name and unknown number"  Check your provincial regulations, I just learned that here in Nova Scotia I can file a complaint for harassment based on the number of times that they called and that they cannot call before 8am and after 9 pm from Monday to Saturday and they cannot call on Sundays.  I will be waiting for them next time.

I have been getting these calls at 715am, noon, 3pm and after 5pm!!!! what are they?? there is always a crackling soubd on the other end and no one is usually there.. they never leave a message. it is driving me crazy

This is a scam , they keep calling me and trying to get information and they have the wrong birthdate and middle name for me. they are calling saying that I have a late payment. I don't know what to do ABOUT THIS.PLEASE HELP.

they call at least once a day today, Oct.18/10 they've called 4 times twice well i was in school. I do not appreciate the constant calling to my cellular device when the number has only been given to friends and family. I read the thing having to do with saying its Capital One, but i have no association with Capital One in any way, shape or form.

866-347-0448 has been calling my parents house looking for me. I have never dealt with Capital One. They call their house EVERY day at 9am. some times twice. The parents tell them they dont have the right number and cant reach me at random times, but they keep calling.

I got the info from my parents when i get home and try to call to put a end to it and it tells me I cant call the number, it can only call out. Really, WTF.

I don't know why we put ourselves through this all the time, when will we learn, I don't like capital one, I cut their card up as soon as the new one got here. I don't want another credit card as long as I live especially from captial one. Blood suckers anyway. they make their money on all the interest not the actual purchases.

they haven't stopped.  last saturday, they called 4 times in 2 hours. They are calling every hour and not leaving a message. They are up to 10-12 times a day.    Don't they realize that nobody is waiting by the phone for them to call?  Once they actually left a message and then called back 15 minutes later.  Did they ever get an earful, but that has not stopped them.  I am filing a complaint with my provincial consumer services department.  Don't expect much, but it's a start.

well for starters, i will now never own a capital one card.     Interestingly, i never Have owned one and yet they call my home continuously .  Thank you for telling me who this is btw.   I hardly ever answer my home phone to begin with, it is there for my convenience only and my caller id saves me from answering many many calls.       So ridiculous to get calls from a company i never had a card with.            What is it  do they want do you think?
