Said she was calling from TN Dept of Health regarding an urgent health matter

Same for me.

I received the call around 7pm today.

Got the same call. Said we were exposed on a date that we were not even out of our house. Who are they??!!

Said the same for me but wanted to know my insurance info and what my address was. Of course I didn’t give them anything at all but a long dial tone. Also told me that I was exposed on a bogus.

I also had a call from this number saying it was the TN Dept of Health regarding an urgent health matter. I tried calling back, and while it appears to take incoming calls (playing hold music), it always disconnects without anyone answering. I called the real TN Depart of Health (Hamilton County) and they are not familiar with this number. The Hamilton County Dept Health took information to look into this report. They also advised not to give information to anyone calling this number, but rather call your listed number for your county health department.

Got the same call today didn’t answer and they left a voicemail about they were the health dept and a family member was just tested a week ago so I thought it was real and gave them the name, DOB, address and my phone number it was under and then it hit me and I hung up but already gave out info.

Pretty much the same experience as everyone else. They called me, and left message about an "urgent health matter." The person on the phone got hostile when I asked why they needed my insurance information. Luckily, I did not give them any information. Unfortunately, though, there was info they already knew about me when they called.

Scam

A woman said she was calling from the TN health department, but the number was nowhere near any numbers they had listed on their website and places like that generally get a block of similar numbers. If you think you should call them back use an official number.

Same, called my phone and left voicemail twice on my on a sunday and wednesday, said “urgent health matter”. So I typed in the number which led me to this page.. obviously a scam!!

This is the second time this number has called me. Glad I didn't answer, scam for sure!

called, left message, had a friends number connected to mine. friend has brain smarts, that i do not have, she never called the fake number
