I have received it twice now

This number called on Sunday morning and would not answer on a Monday morning....calling about my daughter who, is a minor about a health matter. scared me, i'm glad i typed the number in  on here! Thanks atleast it is a scam and not serious! These scammers need to be stopped!J

Not a scam, but TN Dept of Health doesn't do a great job letting you know this is a legitimate number. It was a legitimate contact tracer calling to inform of a close contact exposure and provide isolation guidelines. Did not ask for any information besides name; did NOT request insurance or additional info.

She called me just now telling me the same .. I don’t know

Got a text saying something 2 days in a row. Called the number back and lady asked for my name and said she couldn’t find anything.

I called the TN Dept of Health and spoke with the man in charge of the fraudulent dept and he put me on hold while he called the number (866-354-2818) and then he told me that he was unable to confirm that the number was indeed a TN Dept of Health number. He told me that the Health Dept will never ask for Health Insurance ID #'s nor ask for any payment info.

It's a legitimate call/text from the TN Dept of Health about contact tracing

Had the same experience. It was a legitimate call. Did not ask for SSN, insurance, credit card or anything else. Just gave me info about quarantine for my son, asked if he had symptoms, and sent me a letter I could use for my son's school that did look legitimate on health department letterhead for when he could be released from quarantine.

I have $3 bills that are more legitimate than your post.  If what you said were actually true then you would not have taken the time to look the number up.

I had two calls from 866-354-2818, once a man, the other a woman, claiming they were calling from the TN Dept of Health regarding an urgent matter

Urgent health matter for family member. Stated they were from the Tennessee Health Department. Scam!,

They called about an urgent health matter for my daughter too, and it freaked me out! It’s definitely fake but I don’t like that they even have her name. I don’t understand where they got it from!

Really "Payton"? Is that how it works in Ahmedabad? I didn't know that...
