Called my in-laws looking for us... When I called, number was disconnected.  Called the caller ID phone number and that was disconnected too...

A lady named Lisa has called my place of employmen 7 times today -- Yesterday I asked her to quit calling -- she refused - called me a thief and said she will call all of my reletives and neighbors and will collect this debt.  I asked for her address.  She said if your so smart look it up.  She was trying to get my checking acct. # and also my debit card #.  I am going to sue for harrassment.

Called ex-husband's house. Said it the address they had for me. Said they needed to serve me for court and I was being prosecuted.

called to say from county clerks office and they needed to serve papers, tried to call back, recording states no calls accepted from blocked phone ids, our phones are not blocked though.

This time... they left a message claiming it is urgent that we call their fraud dept before the case gets sent to the DA.  They are looking for my wife's 90 year old grandmother who has been bedridden in a nursing home for the last five years and in very poor health and no income that doesn't go straight to the state.  We have explained her situation a dozen times but the calls don't stop.  Slimmy tactics and very annoying .

Not sure who they are!!  The number on the caller ID is not listed.  They're calling now changing their message to say they are a fraud department.  Never received any letters from them.  Doesn't seem right.

Called my parents and my brother. Told them I was wanted for fraud and they would have to send the sheriff if they don't hear back from me. Very aggressive and rude. Also, the number on caller ID from my parents was this 866 number but at my brother's house, it was 951-837-4922. The person identified himself as Michael Jones with the fraud department of Western Capital. A search on the other phone number shows that it is a California Verizon cell phone. I tried to call both numbers from a line that reads as RESTRICTED on caller ID and got the message that the number does not accept calls from blocked numbers and to dial *82 to unblock the phone.

What is this?  I traced the number on the caller ID and it was a Cell Phone!!!!  How do we stop this?  I had my wallet stolen a few years ago.  I think that my info is out there.  I check my credit often and no sign of this company.  They keep calling saying that they want to serve me papers.  I've been home for a week on disability and no one.  They want information over the phone.  There has to be a way to stop these rip-offs.

I got the same call.  Did anything ever come of it with you?  So far nothing here.

They have called and left 7 or 8 messages very similar to all of these. They left 1 message saying they were calling from my county but the caller ID showed their area code in Murrieta, CA. They have said they are the fraud department, clerks office and my county. They have never sent a scrap of mail. Seems like a scam. Has anyone reported them to the police?

They are ridiculous. Have no idea who they are. I seriously about that company having any of my information on their hands. They keep calling from the same phone numbers, and asking different things: "im a lawyer,... im from the fraud dept....and evertything else. I wish they send this case to court. Don't recognize whatever their asking for. they haven't sent anything by mail. I beleive they do that on purpose so that you dont send the letter to stop any further phone harrasment calls that the law provides. I have no debt that i know and nothing is coming up on my credit report.

I have received several calls from this number the most recent few from Jackie Glenn. She states she works for Western Capitol Group in Murrietta, CA. Her voice mail messages says she is an attorney and must be in court if she missed your call. I have search the California Bar Association and there is no person named Jackie Glen, Jackie Glenn or any version of the Jackie [i.e. Jacqueline, etc.]. Additionally, she has called my neighbors [June 2008], my employer at least twice [ once today and previously in April 2008], both times she was told she is NOT allowed to contact me, stating I have a lawsuit against me and that she is looking for any information possible. I do not know what the game is with the corporation but I do know this company is continually violating Fair Debt Collection Policies, federally and locally. When I stated as much to Jackie Glenn she wanted to know why I was not taking this call seriously.I then stated I only called her to obtain a mailing address so I could mail a certified letter regarding a cease and desist request due to this ongoing harassment by her and Western Capitol Group, she be came incensed and demanded I ask her what this call was about. I told her due to this ongoing "suit", which has no merit because her company has been making these claims as far back as February of 2008, she became upset and ended the call.

I used to work for them in 2008- The manager was a good guy. His name was Benny. He left- now the manager is Shenae- she is Jackie Glenn- She violates the law and so does her boyfriend Don Newton- they claim they are lawyers- the owner doesnt know about it.the are stealing from the company also. The address for Western Capital Group is 41695 Date St suite B Murrieta, CA, 92562 They are not lawyers they are a collection agency. If they claim to be lawyers, ask for their Bar #. Lawyer are required by law to give you that info. If they refuse and still claim to be lawyers- it is a felony to impersonate a lawyer in California. Call the Police.

There are a lot of great websites out there regarding the violations that they perform every single day.  Make honest collectors out of these folks!

I have also received calls from Jackie Glenn who states her name as "Officer" Jackie Glenn, who needed to speak with my husband on a urgent case. She also threw around the words "Litigation" and "Investigation." Scared me half to death until I did some research and found out she is just a bill collector. Her title name within the company is Litigation Officer. So she just leaves off the Litigation part of her title and uses "Officer Jackie Glenn."

My husband is in a dispute with Paypal over some fees that they double charged. He disputed it through his bank and won. Now Paypal turned him over to a collection agency for the amount.

So if she calls and attempts to have you believe she is a cop calling about a police investigation, she is just trying to scare you into returning her call.

I too have received calls from this number... from Kim McRoberts, Dave Stewart, Michelle Jenkins, and a man names John claiming he was an attorney... when they answer the phone they say "Litigation Office".... they said they were from Western Capital & were filing a lawsuit against me.... if anyone knows their address I need it as they are violating the Fair Debt collection act.. I too am seeking the address for Western Capital. I even requested it from several of the people who call. I told them I need to serve them with papers over the fair debt collection act violations they are blatantly performing and they refuse to give the address and then have the nerve to say "Ummm, we are not trying to get any money from you!" Of course I replied why would your company name have "capital" in it if you are not debt collecting. They have even harassed me and MY BOSS [about serving me papers] on several occasion. They are horrible; I would really like to be part of a class action suit against them if there is one. They are totally false, scuzzy and continue to perform illegal federal acts. I do not want money; just to let them know how being harassed and violated at home, and work feels.

I've been getting several calls from a Kim Morgan (litigation officer) at both my home and work numbers. First she claimed that someone from the County Clerks office was going to serve me in the next two hours, but I could clear up the matter if I called back immediately. Needless to say, I wasn't served. Now she's calling back saying I should have been served and to call back to discuss case number blah blah. So much B.S. This lady has even left a message on my brother's machine and he's in California (I'm in Texas). Very unscrupulous.

I used to work for them also- its a turnsyle biz. The owner is Thai Han -800-860-5436 and his cell # is 626-862-0866... This location is but 1 of ten that he owns in southern California. Shenae January is the office Manager- she is using her own credit card processing machine to steal money from the company, Kim Roberts real name is Juanita. Michelle Jenkins Real Name is Christina Jackson. They are all currupt and break state and federal laws all day long.

They told me that they were filing charges on me.  Let meknow if you find a lawsuit b/c I'd like to jump on that bandwagon!  I paid them my fees plus 1/2 the legal fees in order not to be served papers at work!  Then a number of fraudulent charges showed up on my bank activity w/in a few days.  Please let me know what happens!

Talked to the 'Director' Pamela Matthews. Researched them on the BB site, 'F' rating of course and Pamela listed as the contact person. Michael Jones called, of course Pamela denied knowing him. Except the game has changed. Go to trapcall dot com for your cell phone, after a simple setup you will be able to see that Michael Jones' [or whom ever name they are using] number and trace it back. Spoke to a Kathy last night and she said 12 people were fired for abusing the collection laws. This company breaks the law I feel. If you go to the City Of Corona's website, you can file a online complaint. EVERYONE DO THIS. Also contact the FTC. Use names and times.

They are calling my mom leaving messages for me on her answering machine they will not say a company name but they are saying my name as Kelly Ann McIntire II  I called it back I keep getting a voice mail box saying please say the name of the person you are calling and hang up to deliver the message. The message my mom got you could not understand it on her machine I am not the II on my name since when is a girls name with the second

These people almost made me lose my mind and my job.  I called the county clearks office and they had nobody working there by that name. They called my work after I got suspicious (why pay off a CC debt with another CC?  If I skipped out on $2000+ credit card, I wouldn't be able to get another one, right). I canceled my CC and filed a police report. Officer said NEVER pay a debt over the phone before you ask for documentation in the mail.  Creepy how people get scammed when they don't even have decent credit!
