BCR - is a collection agency. I got them to stop calling after proving I am not the person they need. Before that they called every day.

this company called me to saying i owe them hundreds of dollars so i thought someone stoled my identity so i called t-mobile to find out what was going on. i gave t-mobile my ss# and they said they didnt have me on there records. so i think this company just likes to fish around if they see someone with the same first and last name they like to try and squeeze money out of people because you have the same name as the person on the bill. remember never give out your ss# to anyone but the ones you do business  with. see these guys i never gave them my ss# or my phone number i just called t-moble and they said every thing was fine. so bcr can [***].......

After talking to several agents, trying to set up payment arrangements, I was told that if I couldn't help myself then they couldn't help me. Excuse me to the fact that my MOTHER & BROTHER died within 3 months of each other, I became disabled and don't have cushy jobs like these morans do to harrass people every day and hang up on them each time...they'll get the money in time now...MY time!  AMEN on yours manuel!!!  Ohhh and don't answer private numbers either and have a forigen lady ask for you then hand the phone to an english speaking person.

I Called to BCR to resolve a problem which should not be in collections. The next day I recieved a call from these people at my MOTHERS house, whom is disabled, and whose number I did not give out. They stated that I owed TMobile A certian amount of money. I returned their call and spoke to a representative. I explained that I had a cellphone stolen while I was on my 3rd tour in Iraq and had a police report. She stated that "Mr. X I find that hard to believe because any service person who went to Iraq would have notified TMobile 1st."  She then began to Laugh at me. I told her I did not appreciate her calling me a liar and that she could contact my attorney( the whole time she still is Laughing at me). She  continued to laugh at me and told me good bye and have a good day. I called back and asked to speak to a Manager to which I was told by Chris at EXT 4399 " We dont have managers and I'm not required to let you speak to one if we did."
I asked a total of 6 times this call. I called back and I was roughted back to CHRIS and once again was denied a Manager another 6 times. I even had my mother try to call and she was also denied a manager. Chris also stated that there were "NO LAWS FOR COLLECTION AGENCIES IN MN." BCR please remember you are a consumer too.

Keep calling my job everyday 2 times a day. Told them on numerous of occasions to STOP calling my job. Told me that they can't reach me at home, i told them that's not my problem but you are risking my employment. The representative told me to get something in writing. That i will do and also report them for harrassment to the Federal Trade Commission and BB

I receive phone messages on my answering machine from BCR requesting that I call back.  If this is, in fact, a collection agency, then they can go pound salt.  I am not late on any of my bills and they can continue to call my answering machine with absolutely no reply.  I am also listed on the Federal No Call List.  This, in my opinion, has to either be a hoax or someone fishing for my credit information.  The phone numbers associated with the phone call to me were from (202) 607-2732;  (866) 364-9836;  and  (888) 276-8209.  I understand from other web sites that they also use the phone number (888) 714-2338.  If there were a concrete place to file a complaint, I surely would against this company.

I get daily messages on my home office phone. When I did answer it was a recording. Last week I called back and I got another recording. I left a message to quit calling my number.
Today I got the recording again. I called back and the woman hung up on me because I refused to give her my name. They never addressed me by name on the messages they left for me. I gave her my number....they should know if they are calling it. I said tell me who you are calling and I will let you know if you have the right number. She said the calls will continue unless I tell them my name and then hung up on me.
I called back and asked they do not call again. The woman this time told me not to raise my voice at her. I hung up on her that time.
I called back. A man answered, took my number and then asked who some person I never heard of was. I said I don't know. He said okay, I will take care of it.
I am not sure if the calls will end. These people are awful. They call regularly. They do not say what it is about or for. They do not address you by name....and the call is always a recording. So when you call back, they are rude and nasty.

I have been receiving call from BCR for several months.  I do not owe any one any money and i have a very high credit score because I always pay my debts and financial obligations on time.  I have asked them to stop call me and it does not stop.  I am filing a harassment compliant to the California Consummer Protection Agency and anything else I can do, including harassing the Minnesota State government through letters and telephone calls.  I strongly suggest to anyone where indebted or not to do the same.  May be when Minnesota gets enough calls and letters they will do something about this problem.

well i really dont have much to say bout all this.. i see that am not the only one with this problem with collection companies i jst dont understand how they could be like that... they keep on hanging up every single time we call.NANCY AND JACKY RUDE PPLZ.. they are bitter people need to do something and get a life. i KNOW THERE IS A GOD WHO WOULD TAKE CARE OF ALL THIS... THIS PPLZ WOULD PAY FOR ALL OF US.WE ARE CUST. WHOM NEED SOME INFO; AND THEY JST WONT HELP YOU... GOD BLESS AMERICA!!......

This business, if it really is a business calls my home frequently.  I guess maybe about every week or so sometimes once or twice a week.
I have not outstanding debts that are in collection at this time.  I too am also on the federal do not call list. I have read something about you can hit the # on your phone key pad several times to prevent callers like this from calling. Something about it kicks them offline and takes your number out of the system.
This is an interesting site and afte using anywho.com to try and find who this number belongs to have failed, this one has helped. I had a notion that this place was a collection agency or some type of telemarketer.
I am going to contact them on my cell phone and tell them to take my name off their list or I will report them, if enough people do this they will stop.

I called the 202-607-2731 just to see who these people where and they wanted money from my 3 year old T mobile account.  The guy named Bill a black fellow said that I have to pay it in full.  I told him to kiss my [***] and hung up on him.  He than called back and said that I should stop crying and acting like a baby and stop crying to my mommy.  Hello obiously this man is taking a job away that someone else could do a hell of a lot better maybe even nicer so the debt might get paid.  I called back and told this lady named Charliene that I want to make payments I want to see a copy of the bill and they said sorry we don't do that and I said well than your not going to get your money if I don't see a bill.  Either way I am filing a dispute with the Credit companies because this company is very very dis trustworthy and very rude and nasty to people.  Don't be suprised if they call you up and its earlier than when they are legally supposted to call you and even on weekends.

They are looking for someone who we bought our house from years ago - this prior owner never had the phone number we have now - and they are nasty and harassing my family....any suggestions on how to get rid of them - they just hang up on me all the time

automated message when I answered phone said to call 866-364-9836. when I called to ask "what the hey?" they said they were looking for "Jennifer Ball" which is no where near my name and no one I have ever heard of, possibly just a cover name? I told them to stop calling me, but before I got "me" out they had hung up. I then looked up the number and, lo and behold, tons of people having similar problems!
I called back to reiterate not to call again, hung up on again!
I am reporting them to the do not call list.

I have been receiving phone calls 2-3 times a day and called once and they were looking for someone I don't even know. The calls don't stop I am getting them at 9:30 at night! I finally called again today and talked to a "rep" who after I asked to talk to a manager about the harrassing calls she called me a [***] and hung up on me!!! This is not over!!!! I have left two messages with the "Manager" who won't answer his phone and I will keep calling until I see some action! NO EXCUSE!!!

These dip [***] keep calling my home and I still do not have a clear idea about what.  And if it keeps up we as the American public need to file a class action lawsuit.  There are young attys out in the world ready to cut their teeth on some of these blood suckers and make a name for themselves with a win in court.  Besides making these Backsides at BCR have to pay attys to rep them in court. Wow hold the presses I thought I would look into this while typing this up and guess what.  There is a class action getting ready to be filed against these YEA HOOs

So I have never had T-Mobil and I am extremely GLAD!  We began receiving these prerecorded messages for a Jacklyn ******(with our last name)  I decided to call(after about the 20th message on my machine) and let them know that we don't know who she is and let them know that they are barking up the wrong tree.  So I spoke to a really nice girl who said she was so sorry and she would remove our number from the call list.  Well she was nice, but apparently she did not do what she said, we still received calls.   So being the NICE consumer that i am i decided to call them back to let them know that if they are trying to get paid, they better find another number for Jacklyn.  The second woman was not so nice,,, she said there was nothing she could do and that our number must have been given out by mistake or must have been a previous number or what ever... we have had this number for 5 years, i highly doubt it!  She also said to put it on the do not call list, BUT we have been on the do not call list for 4 years... so obviously they don't pay attention to that either!  Well NOW we are getting these calls from BCR and i am really pissed!  I know they are not looking for ME, but I am being harassed for someone else's stupidity!  I am going to see what action i can take, but from reading this i can see that calling and trying to explain to BCR is OUT OF THE QUESTION!  THank you all for your posts!!

I have been called for months, if they answer (or if I answer) they ask for Lewis Cross.  I never saw him, do not know him, but have heard of him, he lived in a trailer on my street.  They have said they will take my # off their list, didn't happen.  I sent a " cease & desist" by Certified Mail, they keep calling after they signed for it.  I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the DO NOT CALL LIST, the Federal Trade Commission.  Where is a Class Action Suit filed???  I can't find it but I want to join!!!!  I have also blown a police whistle into the phone.....they don't care!!!!

Someone from BCR keeps calling my home asking for someone name Ashley. I have persistently told the constant callers that this person does not live at this number but they keep calling every single day early in the morning when my husband and I are trying to rest. There are two numbers today. One is the above number and the other is 1-202-607-2733. I want the phone numbers to stop. I have no idea how they got my number. The person they ask for does not live in my home. Their name is not the same as ours either. I want the calls to stop. They are asking for someone name Ashley.
