Receive calls daily... definitely seems like a scam!  I have voicemail that transcribes and it can't get the name clearly, neither can I from listening but here is the bsic message:

""Hello, this is Russ come to window and door Company. We were looking to thank you for visiting us at Meadow Brooke called and cons. The reason for my call is to verify the information you gave us so we can properly enter you into our sweepstakes. You can press one to speak with one of our marketing agent now or you can call us back at 807 885-9991. We look forward to speaking to you. Thank you" "

I never inquired or entered any sweepstakes

Did just go to a home show and did enter some sweepstakes forms.  It is possible that it is from one of these.  I just hang up because it is an automated message.

Same as Laura, went to a home show a few days ago and have gotten a couple calls a day since. Never leaves a message, though.

I got calls from this after visiting the county fair and signing up for a window sweepstakes. Robot calling for over 9 months now, if you can believe it!

This is Rescom window and doors, filled out a sweepstakes for free windows 2 years ago and they are still calling me, I can't get them to stop!

Same here. Blocked the number from my phone...yet it still shows up. No message. If you all go to a local fair and fill out forms for free anything that is a green light for them to call you. I blocked the number again.

Had a door-to-door salesman talk to me about windows.  At the time I was interested in hearing more as well as entering their sweepstakes (naive).  Talked to a couple of people at the company (Rescom) and did not wish to get an estimate, but still wanted to enter the sweepstakes.  After multiple pushes I finally agreed to have an estimate, however scheduling was difficult and decided to forget about it.  This was in early June.  I have since been getting a minimum of 2 phone calls per day, ranging from 8:00am to 10:00pm and sometimes the computer leaves a message, most of the time they do not.  I finally called them a few moments ago to get my name off of their call list and the operator was extremely rude.  He asked the reason why i wasn't interested in the windows and contest and I said it's simply due to the amount and frequency of the calls I get.  He then asked again "what is the real reason sir" and i said just that again.  He asked a THIRD time "i know you don't like the calls, but what is the real reason sir" and I then asked to just be taken off their call list.  They did not say anything and hung up.  I will be raising hell with this company if I get called one more time.

I have gotten multiple calls from this company. I asked them to stop and they laughed at me and said I shouldn't have given my number out.

Although I cannot speak to any telemarketing tactics, RESCOM itself is not a rip-off.  I sought them after seeing their windows at a home show and they are of superlative quality.  They did a great job of installing and my energy bills have been greatly reduced.
