ACS Group called my mother who lives in another state and told her I was being sued for breach of contract and I had given her number as my secondary contact number.  My mother has heart problems and my father just got out of the hospital so this was very upsetting to her.  They gave her a phone number and my case number so I called.  They said I had an account with Bank of America and that they had papers to serve me for breach of contract.  It seems the social security number and the address they had for the person did not match mine. I told them I was angry that called and upset my mother for no reason.  The lady I talked to said the calls were made from somewhere else and she would look into my case.

Another number for ACS collection agency. They pose as process servers, claiming they have papers to serve in a lawsuit for (fraud, breach of contract, bad checks... take your pick). Don't panic. Real process servers don't call you to let you know they're coming. Don't return their call unless you are able to pay whatever they're collecting on right then, otherwise they will deluge you with phone calls once they know they can reach you.

I got a message that I was being served for Breach of Contract with intent to defraud a financial institution. Then they said consider myself served.
I've never been involved with something like this, but it seems to me that to be 'served' they would need to give me papers in person. Just leaving a message on my phone doesn't seem legit to me.

I got the Same call yesterday and I don't even work I am disable. Apparently if you have someone cleaning your credit and they are doing dispute letters and sending information . I didn't call them back because my lawyer said that when a company is suing you you get a letter not a phone call.

This company has been in business for a long time and I can believe how the government permit these company to harass people specially know  with these type of phone calls.
