I am so tired of getting these calls saying they are IRS on an urgent matter.  I have blocked several different numbers but they seem to call on another number. It was this one this time.

These Indian sounding guys said they were IRS, demanding payment over 3k said they were issuing warrant if not paid  right now. Do not tell anyone else, make excuses to borrow but get money now. Total scam. Hang up on these liars now

They said they investigation from irs .and that there is a warrant out for my arrest and that I'm going to be arrested within 42 hours for the local police station they also accuse me of fraud on my taxes he said they were cops or private investigators

Got the same phone call. Said I was being investigated for tax fraud. I looked up the number for IRS Criminal Investigation and it was a completely different number. If I get another phone call I will be reporting them to the FBI for falsely claiming to be Federal Agents as well as theft. If you get a call from this number againg call the Treasury Inspector General For Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.

Do not answer calls you don't know and never call them back. The IRS will not call you. The IRS won't ask you to pay in i-Tunes cards. The IRS will not wish you "good luck as the situation unfolds". Trust yourself and your instincts - do not let a bully intimidate you by threats that are nothing but hot air.
