Everyday this who ever they are call, leave no message when the answering machine kicks on. I won't answer the phone for  any unknown numbers. Most likely a scam.

Called and did not leave a message. Must be a newly assigned 800 number. Called back using a phone that is never on and robo responded with the numbers 500 317114074091? Next time I may answer so I can report on who has started using this number to bug people.

Please stop calling me

Have received numerous calls from this number.  I never answer "toll-free" calls.  When my answering machine picks up, there is a series of beeps then a message comes on saying that if I want to make a call, I should hang up and try again - then a continuous series of very loud beeps comes on - keeps on until I unplug the phone.. Very annoying,

Wanted donations for an "Animal League"

This is the Humane Society and they are exempt from the telemarketing rules, as they are a legitimate charity and are only looking for donations.

They have been incessantly calling with caller ID as "Unavailable".  I suppose it would make sense if it was the US Humane Society, as my wife works at an animal hospital.  But @ this home, no Caller-ID# = no answering.

Have received calls from this number several times.  They disconnect as soon as my answering machine comes on.  I blocked the number a while back but they are still calling a couple times a day.

It's been 5 days since my last post when I blocked their number but they are still calling at least once a day.

Two days since last call.  I blocked  their number quite a while ago and they continue to call.  CID just said:  OUT OF AREA and the phone number.   Wonder how long before they realize I have blocked their number and stop calling.  I'll keep posting on this site.

10x in last 3 weeks - no message left.  Several posts indicate it's the "Humane Society" and the "US Humane Society".  Wonder if either is correct OR legit.  We get mail solicitations from at least five (5) different  "Humane Societies" on an almost monthly basis.  Try a cross-reference on  give(dot)org.  This site lists legitimate charities, as well as the percentage of monies rec'd actually go toward their stated goals.
