866-375-8426

I received a call and message from 866-375-8426 & 866-376-4387 and they stated someone filed a "claim against my name and SS number". Nothing else...no name but they called when I was in Mx and left 3 messages. It sounded like the same person. i did not call back. They did know the last 4 of my SS. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Scam scam scam.  Don't call.  I got the same message.  It is actually computer generated.

I just got the call massge said re: my collection,  they have my son and my info can someone she'd some light on this. It's pissing me off

Returned a call left from Regional Acquisition Group. They said they were trying to reach Mr. xxx. I said, we just recently divorced...he's my ex husband. Many of our bills were together so can I ask what this is reg"...and I was rudely interrupted with, "No you can't! Now you're just being nosy. You need to go on and find you something to worry about."

This includes New York States law prohibiting any collection agency from collecting on Payday loans in the State of New York.
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) outlines prohibited behavior when attempting to collect a debt, and outlines specific rights for consumers. There are penalties for agencies found in violation of the Act. BBB advises
consumers to become familiar with their rights under the Act, which can be found at the Federal Trade Commissions Website at: ftc.gov  BBB advises consumers to file with us at bbb.org/complain.

Thank you for sharing this information with us. I have been receiving numerous nuisance calls as they allege that they are looking for my daughter. They are very annoying.
