Got a call from this number today saying they had a summons for me and I needed to contact them with a case number.  Anyone getting calls from this number?

Did you ever find out what that was about I got the same call today?

got this call today about a civil lawsuit gave me a case call this number. They asked for last four of social. I refused the contact got upset and said they would serve me papers for court. And hungup I think they its a scam.

I have been receiving calls from this company for many months, I did some research and found that they are a third party “debt collector"  called Docufile processing. The problem is it is all a scam.  They are calling about debts that are not even reported to the credit bureaus or are debts that are over the statue of limitations.  They won't give you any info, they tell you they will give you info if you give them money first.  All of their tactics are very illegal.  They threaten with court summons, arrest, ect.   I found that F and E financial firms uses them as a third party debt collector knowing their tactics and when F and E are confronted with the issues they "apologize for that company’s behavior and do not condone it."  Then why hire them?!?!!?  Because they scare and harass people into calling the firm.  This is horrible and something needs to be done.  

I'm going through the same thing.  This has been going on since June of this year.  Each time they say I will be appearing in court in two weeks.  Ugh! This is so frustrating.

WHY do you continue to answer the scammers calls, and let them bother you? For every time you acknowledge their calls, they will simply call you again!

The biggest scam people.  They called me today and said the same thing: they will serve me with court papers, they asked for my social security and my addresses.  If they are a legal firm and they have to go against someone the legal way, they are supposed to have all the information and serve you the proper way with legal papers.  This is a scam, they are thieves, they are criminals.  The government needs to take action to stop these thieves threatening people on the phone after 7-8pm.  What kind of government office calls you at 7-8pm? Not in the USA.  In our country no government offices call you; either police or clerk from court serves you with legal papers

Stop threatening people, you thieves and scammers.  You deserve 100 years in jail without parole.
