This is how it works. Familycontact911.com (1-866-381-1674) in India hires ILD.com (1-800-433-4518) in Mexico to handle their billing. Familycontact911.com bills ATT.Com for services. ATT.com says that they cannot stop Familycontact911.com from charging the account. Familycontact911.com asks for identifying information when you sign up including name, address, phone, and mother's madenname and the names of up to 8 other people. Use your imagination and then google Familycontact911.com and ILD.com with the word scam and see what happens. I've been seeking to get them off my bill for two months (June and July) without suscess. Please tell us your story.

I was erroneously charged $15.95 on my Verizon bill by ILD, Telecommunications Inc.  
I called to determine where this charged originated from and was informed by the customer service rep that it was from    FamilyContact911.com   based out of Clearwater, FL.  The direct customer support number is (866) 381-1674.  Of course there is no answer and I doubt the familycontact911support@contact911.com is a valid email address...    It is a scam any way you look at it...   Contact your phone service carrier and direct them to block all such charges against your phone bill.   I am seriously contemplating killing my land line all together.

I have been charged over $800!!!
As soon as I got the bill in last week for $930.86 I knew something was not right!
I phoned my customer service over at AT&T all they said was I was receiving multiple bills from FamilyContact911 over the last three weeks every call was costing exactly $20.00 I had not received any of these calls though as they were all during the hours of 10am-6pm and I leave the house at 8am and return at 8pm and never have any record of them calling!
Also at the weekend I never remember receiving any calls for the past 3 weeks and there is no record on my home phone but my bill says they have phoned!
I cannot believe it, the standing charge and AT&T want me to pay it and don't know how to help?
How about cancel the charge against me and go after FamilyContact911 for the money

Hi,

I received internet charges on my AT&T phone bill from familycontact911.com and so I contacted and filed a complaint with the FCC.  Go to www.fcc.gov and go to wired telephone, bill/services and submit complaint form.

I just received-but did not answer-a call on my cell phone from this number-866-381-1674. They left no message.  Does anyone know who or what this number is 'attached' to?  I see mentioned in posts 'familycontact911' who is that and what do they do?  Thanks, Irish

I received four calls from  at number. Each time I was unable to understand what they were saying so I told them I was not interested in selling. I have not idea who these people are

You are so right. It is a scam ,I had $16.33 charge on my AT&T bill.
We have to do something about it.
